I would be more interested to see another Yonko (whenever it's Kaido or BM or both) vs marine battle than I am in seeing the alliance fighting the yonkos.

But seriously I agree with you, it was a missed opportunity to have the whole Smiley devil fruit scene pay off with a user dying and passing onto another fruit. Hell, Dressrosa's first 3rd was about Ace's fruit.
