This chapter is dedicated to a fight, people can't call this shit trash when the arc has been offscreening a majority of its encounters...... The scabbard build up has been since Punk Hazzard if oda offscreened them thts an even bigger sin than Jack. I will admit tho it does seem like things were going to get interesting with strawhats and beast pirates. But atleast no fights were happening or starting as far as we know.

Tbh it's true that Kid's use of his devil fruit is really underwhelming when you know the kind of stuff Magneto and other magnetism users can do with their powers such as levitating themselves, creating magnetic shields, feeling the presence of each other via the small electric presence in each living being, turn mini metal objects into lethal weapons by throwing them at supersonic speed, etc...

It's kinda surprising given how creative Oda normally is when it comes to give powers to devil fruits.

I just think it is difficult to balance here. Oda will give us good power ups for him, but with that kind of power, he needs to be very carefully. When not be carefully, he could end up the most overpowered character in OP, easily.
