Nah Theres no Sasuke in One Piece if were being real. No character in One Piece has gotten that level of focus. Sasuke was literally outdoing the main character, he had better fights than Naruto and honestly some of the most entertaining fights in the series, and his plot points essentially carried Shippuden for the most part.

I think what The person talking about is there is rivalry that Luffy has with other supernova. Specifically kid and Law Possible maybe others as well. They appear have the same goal and there also very competitive towards one another. Plus there ideals Sort of clash in terms how they do certain things. Think about it sasuke, vegeta, bakugo there ideals do clash with main character. As well they have similar goals and there very competitive towards our main character,
