Tbh the dragon theory is not completely out of the window.

For all we know,he could be a dragon that turns into Oni, Dragons etc.. and gets all the mythical abilities related to them which kinda makes Kaido look invincible.

All we know is that he ate a Fish Fish no Mi which is supposed to be a zoan

I recall I once claimed it would not have made sense if Kaido wasn't a zoan user given he is the captain of the beast (zoan) pirates lol, I was proven right for this one

But technically I think the fact he looks humanish means he is not a Dragon, in fact Chopper looks humanish because he ate the human human no mi, or else he would look like a raindeer so the best I can see for Kaido is Oni
