This is a bit disappointin. Like how may people have we seen bring given devil fruits? And they don't ever see that as "life long debt". Fuckin Orochi didn't even care when that old hag who gave him a mythical fruit got killed by kaido

It's a bit disappointing that kaido is the only person who seems to be I've getting a good devil fruit is such a big deal. (Except I guess blackbeard but at least with him he was planning on getting two devil fruits which is in fact a big deal).

I guess that explain why Kaido LOVES himself some Smile fruits. This man had his who life changed by eating a fruit so he doesn't care how fucked up the smiles make his men, he believes it's better than having no fruit.

Its kinda weird as I looked into this with a friend recently. Ace seemed to have his WB tattoo when he gave that kasa hat to Oars Jr from Wano. So I'm assuming he want to Wano whilst he was a WB pirate? It doesn't makes sense yet...

Nah.

He doesn't have the tattoo when he met Tama. Which means he didn't know WB yet. He made the hat for Oars Jr. after leaving Wano, indicating he learned the skill and made it somewhere else after meeting Whitebeard.
