Sea Emperors clash each other when they meet with a sky split and they stop shortly after whatever conclusion made in the arguments. That's why they are called Yonko that ruled the seas and rivals to each other forming balance of power in the new world.
Not some amateur bum that is lucky to acquire his position as Admiral because of a sudden post vacancy and gets wifi diffed by one of these Yonko.
This a force unreasonable headcanon that fits certain agenda(maybe??) otherwise idk what to say.

Mihawk/Zorotards are really weird.
To glorify or defend Mihawk they will use Shanks position and claim Mihawk is equal or better coz of title. Even though Mihawk's feats and portrayal are shit level compared to yonkos or admirals.
While if Shanks is showed with better portrayal and feats against someone like WSC or WSM, they will react like "how can that be possible" or "this is bullshit"!? This will damage our delusional theories coz WSC or WSM > WSS....

I think Shanks is above kaido because Kaido literally put shanks along with 3 other legends that were above kaido, and lolden who almost killed kaido.
That is a far better indicator than kaido saying no one can beat him while glazing condom and getting his ass kicked by him.

Correct, they are hanging on to a technicality. They have to do this to stay consistent. If people believe that someone is above WSC then the title argument becomes moot. Scaling via titles were always shaky. WSM arguably had at least 2 people above him in his prime (Roger and Xebec). WSC and “Mr. 1 on 1 always bet on Kaido” turned out that he cheated to beat Oden.
I don’t think Shanks will ever look worse than any other midgen top-tier, I’ll just leave it at that. He’s the Gojo of OP verse, Oda had him get unbelievable haki feats back-to-back post-Wano and people still think he’ll end up below Kaido? LOL. It’s like these guys haven’t watched another popular shonen before, Shanks fits into the archetype of overpowered mentor/father figure.
