Powers & Abilities So...does most of Kaido’s crew not have Haki or something?

If I remember correctly, out of all the Flying 6 and Calamities only Ulti and Who’s Who have shown Haki. This is really strange to me, is Oda just afraid of showing the weaker Straw Hats beat Haki users or something? Or is Kaido’s crew really just lacking Haki users?

They are physically enhanced fighters and haki isnt really necessary for their own tier.

King has shown it with his clash with Sanji. Queen/Jack haven't (yet)

Oda is presumably failing to display it all the time. But it would constitute such bad writing if at least most didn't possess the basics.

Instead of afraid I would say he is not sure how to write in a convincing way. Like Nami vs Khalifa was a satisfying win, even though khaalifa was a much better combatant.

After Ulti headbutted Luffy. Page 1 and her transforms because they sensed his strength and ulti even sensed his haki while the fodders couldn't see him and taught he was defeated

There is still a good chance that Oda will either show Jack using haki during his fight against Inu, or it will be revealed in a second vivre card if Jack does get another vivre card.

With the Beasts Pirates vivre card pack coming in September, we will soon find out if they all have haki or not.

You can become a mid tier if you don´t have Haki but can make up for it with differently equally dangerous abilities.
Having said that, Drake, WW, Ulti and P1 definitely have it and showed it.
BM at least has a good excuse with webs, poison and fire.
Sasaki has no excuse and thus is the consequently most disappointing F6.

I've always put pre-TS Luffy at Veteran level even without Haki, so I never thought it was a prerequisite. He was probably >= Curiel level in Whitebeard's crew who was going toe to toe with Moriah.

But it's extremely difficult, if not impossible to go into High Tiers without using Haki.
