Controversial Teach is 1000x better final villain than Imu

#24
Imu lives in the dark so there is still correlation with that. And I'd say that Teach and Nika are pretty similar in their dreams. Teach made Hachinosu which is a land of freedom for pirates. How far from this is Nika?

Nika wants to be King of the Pirates because he is selfish and cares only about him.

Teach wants to be King of the World because he cares about everyone.

In an election I'd totally vote for Teach instead of Nika.

That is actually a high possibility for One Piece race. But there is no way in hell that One Piece race is endgame. It is completely senseless.
Whitebeard said that once One Piece treasure is found the World would be upside down. So it is only logical that the series doesn't end with One Piece treasure discover but Final War.

No it will not. Because I'm talking about what we saw so far and that will not change. Imu is a coward. Teach is brave.
Yeah this thread will most definitely age extremely poorly, I'm just letting you know now so that you don't look like a fool later.

Nah. Imu represents centuries of villainy and is central to history of the One Piece world and may even be the architect of its current state. He has the most powerful subordinates and reach bar none.
Almost every single antagonist & conflict from the start are a result of Imu’s rule and policies.

Blackbeard is just another rival for the Pirate King title with a force that at best is marginally stronger than that of the Strawhats.
Defeating BB leaves the world little changed from the oppressive state it is in now. Defeating Imu changes the entire world and resolves an 800 year conflict.

Not if defeating Imu's tyranny leads to BB getting the means to destroy the world; not just flood it - completely kabooming it.

Then that just makes BB an afterthought after all the heavy labour is done. He just becomes an annoyance to clean up after the meat of the 800 year conflict has been resolved.

That’s not what I consider a final villain, just a post-villain addendum…like Sasuke pointlessly fighting Naruto after the Ninja War. The “can we just wrap this up already” spot

BB's lineage is part of that conflict, it may even be what started the downfall of the AK in the first place. Defeating Imu, responsible of the Void Century, would only be half of the problem in that case.

That doesn’t make it much better. At best that still makes BB a side interloper that comes in after Imu’s 800 years of tyranny for only a couple of hours at the end. It would just be the lineage of a past loser trying for it’s one moment of glory after the big winner Imu has been cleared as the greater obstacle.

Defeating Imu would still be majority of the problem with BB being a side piece of action after all is said and done.

Imu is a guy who never knew anything about the Ancient Kingdom's technology.

He somehow got kingdoms to unite against them, and then hid in the shadows.

A guy who can actually learn about that stuff and use it can be a bigger threat than Imu ever was.

He is using uranus which is probably Ancient Kingdom's technology.

Imu barely understands shit and that's obvious.

The technology and Devil Fruits have avoided him. Fate doesn't allow Imu to really get any of it.

He may have 1 piece but that's after he struggled against fate to get 1, and even then he was never able to use it the way he wanted to.

Blackbeard may not be like that at all. He may be able to get access to that stuff without fate trying to stop him.

Imu knows everything about the void century. He knows that mother flame is needed to activate the weapon. BB isn't a scientist either.
Imu has never used that weapon the way he wanted to, and he likely never will.

The Five Elders said shit like if they were ever able to harness the weapon properly then they wouldn't have any issue putting an end to large scale wars.

That will never happen.

MonsterKaido I think you're one of the shitty fans.

People like you shouldn't read the story.

If you don't understand that fate itself has been trying to stop Imu from using anything really powerful then you are not understanding the story, and what it implies about him.

We won't be talking any further.
