Everyone here was inclined to instantly put Zoro above the scabbards after chapter 955 when Zoro has shown the ability to tame Enma, even though he didn't have great control over it yet. But when we see 18 y/o Oden casually using the same sword with no problems, it's somehow different and it doesn't prove Oden is stronger than Zoro, even though y'all used the same exact reasoning when comparing Zoro with the scabbards

Here's the biggest distinction between those two scenarios. Zoro and Oden both tamed Enma. That just tells us they were strong enough to eventually accomplish that feat. Both EB Luffy and Whitebeard can lift boulders while Joe Schmo can't. That means EB Luffy and Whitebeard are stronger than Joe Schmo, but it says nothing about who is stronger between EB Luffy and Whitebeard. Other comparisons have to be made to reach that conclusion.

Zoro tamed Enma. Still had trouble controlling it.
Zoro acknowledged he will have to become considerably stronger to be able to use the sword proficiently
Zoro still hasn't used Enma in an actual fight
And then there's 18 year old Oden who was already using Enma as his main weapon, meaning he's already mastered it, which Zoro himself said he hasn't done yet
Nope. Then again, Zoro did use it without needing to train. The training helped him to control how much haki the sword is allowed to take from him I think.
Another misconception you are holding on to is that Zoro needed to stronger to use Enma. Zoro said that he will be even stronger when he masters Enma. That is not the same as Zoro needing to be stronger.
In this instance, it is very clear that Oda is portraying Oden as Luffy-Zoro hybrid. Personality-wise he is similar to Luffy, fighting prowess-wise he is similar to Zoro. Trying to either inflate or deflate Oden doesn't harm Zoro the least. So, I am game about listening to your opinion.

The most impressive part about Zoro using Enma for the first time was the fact that he didn't pass out like others would. He said himself that he ISN'T used to the sword yet.
The process should look like this:
Using the sword (without passing out) >>> Getting used to the sword >>> Mastering the sword.
Zoro only showed the first stage during chapter 955, and he's probably fairly used to it by now, but we can't be sure until we see him using Enma is a fight

When chapter 955 came out everyone used the Enma feat to put Zoro above the scabbards, but suddenly Enma is somehow irrelevant when we're comparing Zoro to Oden...
