It doesn't say that Zoro will kill an eastern dragon but it is indeed linking Zoro and Kaido. I would ordinarily warn against getting prematurely excited after the whole Shanks bounty fake hype (lmao) but in this case, the characters in-story have already connected Zoro with Oden and Kaido through the Enma plotline.

Well it's not like mythical zoans are based on common animals. It's possible they take the powers and stats based directly on the creatures they're inspired by?

Not that I necessarily think normal dragons = DF dragons.

And we still don't know if Kaido's dragon form is from a DF or if his humanoid form is from a DF.

How do we know that the dragon(eastern one) Ryuma killed didnt have the same scales that Kaido's dragon form has?
Since the scales seem to be the source of Kaido's toughness, at least in his dragon form(probably in hybrid as well), why would the dragon that ryuma slew be any less tough if he had the exact same scales?

You should know better than compare Lucci and leopard with this case...

There has to be people above Roger. Think of it this way: Luffy has to surpass Roger. How can Luffy can surpass Roger if there is no-one more powerful than Roger that Luffy has to overcome? Another way of thinking is this: If Roger was the strongest in OPverse, he should had been able to solve all of it's problems (I know that doesn't sound right, but in Shonen, that is absolutely correct).

There has to be people above Roger. Think of it this way: Luffy has to surpass Roger. How can Luffy can surpass Roger if there is no-one more powerful than Roger that Luffy has to overcome? Another way of thinking is this: If Roger was the strongest in OPverse, he should had been able to solve all of it's problems (I know that doesn't sound right, but in Shonen, that is absolutely correct).

Whether it's a regular dragon or Kaido, dragons should have a very high level of base durability. Nola the snake from Skypeia was so tough that neither Zoro nor Luffy could break through her skin. A dragon which is a mythical beast, one with special significance in Asian mythology no less, should be far more durable than Nola. So your example isn't really the best in this case. Nonetheless I think Kaido's durability is something else, he shrugged off a 10km fall while Big Mom was shitting herself falling from the Chateau. Which makes it all the more impressive that Zoro is going to cut him and surpass Oden.

I can't see the kanji very well since it's blurred but from what I could read, there's no mention of eastern dragons, just the difference between kanji at Oda uses to describe different kinds of dragons. For example, the 'dragon' kanji in Celestial Dragon is different from the one used to describe Kaido, and meanwhile Monkey D Dragon's name is in katakana.
