I doubt Zoro could realize he's at his peak he will definitely grow more (or try).His goal doesn't put him boundaries....unlike being a PK which definitely stops at one point.

Saying it's " Luffy shonen " tells me you would be ok with "Ichigos shonen" ,"Natsus shonem" ,etc too...

When Zoro's the strongest swordsman who will he be able to fight to keep getting stronger?

And do you believe Luffy will become the pirate king or not? I understand if you somehow believe Zoro will achieve his dream while Luffy fails or dies attempting to, but based on the likelihood that Luffy becomes the pk (which is high) you can also base whether he will be the strongest character or not since he will have to beat the strongest characters as they are the ones who will be standing in his way

I believe from the begining oda had them down as nigh equals to stay that way till the end and gave them mihawk and shanks respectively to surpass.
Zoro was always different to the other crew members. He was the only one luffy sought out to join prior to even knowing him.
He was the one to step up in big moments w7 thriller bark etc for luffy.
Even the training. Him and luffy had specific fight training for the two years focused only on increasing their strength and haki.
Even if luffys ahead eos zoro wont be far behind.

do you really believe Shanks will be Luffy's final opponent tho?

So how high do you think King's bounty is? I think it's around Luffy's current bounty; if Zoro beats King then his bounty should be in the same territory as his. Luffy's bounty was almost 50% higher than Katakuri's after WCI, the difference is Zoro won't have CNN Morgans to wank him to such status
