Oda's pacing is..... poor to say the least. It depends on how quickly the Calamities are defeated imo.

But I wouldn't be too surprised if Luffy and Kaido are still fighting by the end of the year.

Same here but i feel that's for a purpose like assuming zkk is the end goal right then if oda gave us zoros backstory and lineage and more character stuff everyone would say zkk is a possibility (probably have some that would deny yea) but i'd think a vast majority would already be saying oh this is zoro arc i'm expecting him to go beyond and zkk but instead i think oda will have the zkk factor and shock most of the fan base and then we get his character motivations/lineage and by the end of wano everything will be put together nicely

Small prediction of what I think Zoro is going to for the rest of the arc:

  • Defeat King and learn how to use basic CoC(maybe even advanced coc?) in less than 15 minutes.
  • Get effected by the medicine and knocked out.
  • Luffy will defeat Kaido at this point.
  • Dragon Kaido gets back up and attempts to destroy the Flower Capital.
  • Zoro gets up and confronts Kaido.
  • ZKK.
