The general rant thread

thanks for asking, so far I've made a couple friends and they're pretty awesome.

yeah, you're right. they were friendly when i was there but now that I'm no longer in their vicinity, they treat me like I'm nonexistent and try to "remove" me from their group or whatever.

at this point they're just a cult who only allows people around them in and block anyone else out, over the span of months I've tried to contact them, but they never reply, only to find out that someone that they know whose still in that group, they sill reply too.

feel like giving up is the only option here, because up until now i didnt want to believe it but when the proof is starting to show itself all I can do is accept it.

there's no point in fighting it, just moving on and realizing my old friends were dirtbags who only showed up when i was there.

it was a religious group too, which is why im not sure if i can discuss that on there since im new, I've since then questioned them.

do you think im forgiven for not saying goodbye to them?

Well what do you mean by being forgiven for not saying goodbye to them?

I had a look at your video there showing how you made it and it never fails to impress me how people do this digital wizardy to make these compositions happen. I can see the process of how you do it but like watching people cook a fine meal, it still blows me away when I see the final results lol. Just like watching a magic trick with the big payoff/punchline even!
Thanks, I wish more people cared, in the age of AI art is cheap as fuck. I can't make money out of it anymore, so I'm trying YouTube, but it's a very small niche of people who care or want to learn stuff like this. I mean why would you, when there's an AI that can do it in seconds.

Basically, I didn't tell the group of friends that I was with that I was leaving and because of that I felt bad.

I wanted to say goodbye but never really got the chance to do so, also because I was afraid, they would hate me or something.

It's kind of like having a close friend, and the not telling them you're moving to another town and then moving.

Getting in contact with them (MXA) was hard, I know they saw me try and make an effort to contact them, but they just ignore without a care in the world.

I wanted to say goodbye, as an act of moving on and feeling forgiven but sadly I don't think that's going to happen.

They're stuck up and self righteous, can't bring themselves down from their throne to talk to someone acting like I'm a commoner.

How many views or followers you have doesn't matter, all you should focus on is doing what you love.

I think what you do is amazing, don't compare yourself to artificial creations.

Do you know why? Because although AI can make art, it can't experience the determination and work that you put into make the things you love.

That's what make you different, cheap imitations are exactly that, they're cheap. Your art is valuable because you poured your heart out into it and that my friend is what makes you special.

If you let numbers discourage you, how will you ever achieve what you want to accomplish in life?

You're such an inspiration you know that? My life has been stressful too, and whenever I look at the mistakes or what I don't have, I only see myself as someone who isn't good enough.

I'm sure one day you're going to look back and be thankful that you didn't quit so early on.

Empires aren't built in a day, keep going and you'll see progress, okay?

Take care, I really really hope you're okay. :)

Well, I'm sorry to hear that happened, but I think it would be good to reframe it as, they are harmful for you if they treated you bad, would you say someone else in your situation should talk to them any more or feel guilty about not telling them goodbye?
