With the recent chapter, there's even more links with regards to Zoro and Kaido. He is the only one to be able to tame Enma besides Oden himself and he is using that sword quite well after a bit of training.

The chapter also parallels Luffy and Zoro training in their respective fields with haki control being the main purpose of their training. One training in a way to damage Kaido and the other taming the sword which damaged Kaido.

As much as I would want for this to happen, not it's not happening. Luffy taking down every big bad from this point onward. Even if others were to participate in the fight, Luffy would contribute the most and be the one to land the finishing blow.
