I've never been so mad at a movie I got to watch in theatre I think.
There was indeed great ideas ! I didn't like the romatic relationship and the scenes of the casino but the rest was quite good !
I still don't understand the fact that people why people thought that this movie disrespected Luke when he did one of the badasses usage of the force at the end.

Companies have started firing DEI writers and slowly refusing "support" from Sweet Baby Inc. which is very good news if true.
Sweet Baby Inc themselves said the reason female characters are made to be more masculine, less attractive or flat out ugly, is to be more inclusive for trans women. What a way to disrespect trans women by saying they're all ugly lol. And their game continue to flop.

Activism is not the reason why phase 4 is not working. The reason why most hollywoodian stories are bad right now is because of one simple things:
Bad Stories
This is really hilarious because when you look at Andor, that is praised pretty much by everyone (outside of really ignorant Star Wars fans).. it is the PINNACLE of activism. Literally, you can't be more activist that this, its literally the most woke and leftist piece of media (with Dunes 2) that was release to this day..
But it had a good story.
So no one is spitting on it.. and even some bigots are on board with it.
The problem is really clear here and it comes in many colors:
- Some People can't accept bad stories who talk about women. Its hell on earth for them.
- Most of hollywood is pinkwashing important issues or are using white liberal feminist vision of the subject. Which render the stories.. just bad.
- Hollywood don't know how to create good stories anymore so any stories that has good political ideas but are boring will be seen as failures.
- People don't understand that stories are political and depoliticizing those stories is not really a good thing to do.
In reality.. When I hear "get the activist out of my stories".. I only hear "Don't make me think about the world, I just want bland and liberal stories that doesn't take me out of my confort zone"

It is bad, for entertainment. For shutting my brain off.
No problem if they want to make activist movies and documentaries.
But i'm tired of going to watching a stupid super hero movie or action flick, and have to reminded of dumb politics.
When i'm into watching a more thought provoking movie, that's great, but when i go watch some super heroes, i want to see action, super powers and comedy. That's it.
hopefully, if they succeed, disney will wake up and clean house in Lucasfilm too

Perfect example of this is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League or more specifically, the character of Lex Luthor. For super hero games, most important thing is good story and accurate characterization followed by good gameplay.
Lex Luthor is the embodient of superiority complex and is so arrogant, that he even thinks he's better than literal gods. He has THAT much ego. In the game, he narratives all the character profiles and is his usual arrogant self. For some reason, he's very respectful and remorseful for Wonder Woman and the Amazons, saying it's a shame they have to live under a patriarchy(no joke, he says that). That's like Batman saying the Joker is a good person and is shame that the justice system limits his criminal creativity. It's that bad. It made absolute no sense for the character and of course, it was heavily influenced by Sweer Baby Inc.
