I've been wrong many times so I don't even dare wishing it happen but it is obvious Sanji needs a "Nothing happened" moment to start catching up with Zoro. And that would be the bare minimum.
CLLLoda keeps hinting at those two being somewhat rivals and the wings of the PK but he doesn't treat them equally. Sanji has yet to be confirmed to have CoC, let alone ACoC. His CoO was barely been highlighted on Wano and Luffy is leagues above him even on that aspect. That is not the case for Zoro and his CoA. And let's not forget the rooftop, probably the most insulting moment for us Sanji fans in the entire manga.
At this point I just want him to be clear: if Sanji is just one of the strawhats, I hope he starts using him as a background character. It is getting ridiculous at this point.
He doesn't even care about Sanji as a character. He has grown an exoskeleton out of nowhere and he has yet to ask Vegapunk what it is happening to him. Judge and Sora aren't even worth mentioning apparently. So many wasted moment, so many opportunities gone. We'll see.
