What's special about it? Does it focus more on establishing actual relationships?
You can only like 5 persons per day and are invited to write them a direct message each time (can choose not to). You can’t talk to more than 8persons waiting for an answer at the same time.

There is no point at all in paying because you can see all the persons who liked you. Except for sending more likes which is I think useless unless you wanna be a nerd spending his time sending likes all day.

Your profile also must have informations that giveaway traits of your personality a bit.

With that said, it’s not as beautiful as I make it sound like. Just pointing out its differences with tinder that can go on with 2 or 3 pictures and nothing else. Anyway there is a lot of memes and sketches about hinge on social media that for instance mocks how lots of people put the same descriptions based on google searches or what probably

Not saying that dating apps don't work at all, but social media in general has created such an unhealthy environment for young people.
Never before has humanity been exposed to 100s or 1000s of curated content from models in the best angles & perfect lighting daily... at the tap of a button.

Instagram singlehandedly led to exponentially more young people undergoing cosmetic procedures and taking PEDs to live up to fake standards that social media put on them.

Sounds good, especially if you can do all of that for free.

PED use is actually crazy, people don’t even realize that your response to gear is largely genetic.

There are tons of people who take gear, fuck up their hormones for life and need to inject TRT forever just to function, and don’t even get a good physique out of it

Like I do believe in a healthy amount of consuming self-improvement and looksmaxing type content and beliefs, but it's gotten so out of control to the point where a very, very attractive guy can become extremely disillusioned with himself.

Like a guy who's an 8+ face-wise with an attractive body and a good job, who's a nice person, starts thinking that he's butt-ugly and entirely undesirable because he's 5'6 or 5'7.
The issue is on dating apps you are competing with pretty much the entire city if not world in some cases. And women are in the driver's seat, they essentially get whoever they swipe. So when you as a women have all the options in your fingertips, ofcourse you are gonna filter out as much as you possibly can. So this is a massive disadvantage for most men, it's not just the content giving off an unhealthy illusion it's a legit phenomenon, but this is far more prevalent on these dating apps.

In person it is a completely different game, depending on the setting the only one you are competing with could be yourself at that moment in time. This is where being confident takes precedence above everything else. I've seen some of the shortest dudes bag the most women, and I'm talking 5'4" levels of short.

Facts. The algorithm has made people start to believe that the juiced-out, heavily altered and carefully chosen photos and videos of people who are easily on the far extreme side of the spectrum as far as aesthetic outliers go....are somehow the average joes walking around out there.

It's madness. But I guess you can't really blame people, because if that's all you see, then that's all you'll believe.

But really all it takes is just a walk outside honestly. If I go outside and walk around where I'm from in Brooklyn literally right now, I probably wouldn't be able to find even 1 person who looks anywhere remotely close to anyone I see on social media...even in an entire day tbh.

Because females under 30 get way more attention than guys their age—it's basically a competition for guys! But don’t worry, you will be at your peak between 30-40, while they wont be.
It’s a different ball game for serious relationships.

On Hinge (which is relationship focused) the top 30% of women get something 60% of the likes from men.

Which just further proves my point that when selecting for relationships and not casual hookups their attractiveness curve is closer to men’s @ConquistadoR

Yep.

And then there are retards like Togi glorifying it's use/abuse to attain the results while still training, eating and recovering like shit.

You gotta pick up the fork or pick up the needle.

I agree with you tbh. It's not that it doesn't exist -- but rather it seems to only exist online specifically. IRL is just a different ballgame.

And yeah I also agree about the shortest dudes thing. Back in college, I remember there was this guy who couldn't have been taller than 5'4" or maybe 5'5" max, and every dude around was jealous of him. Every girl had a crush on him and he was bagging them left and right. Bro just took good care of himself (lean, not even much muscle mass, good style, white teeth) and had tons of charisma. It was a sight.
