Character Discussion Vol. 102 SBS proves that Zoro will be recognized as the official Vice Captain/First Mate/副船長 (Fuku Senchō) of the Strawhats at some point before EOS

I'm glad you at least acknowledge how Sanji agrees with Zoro when Zoro teaches Luffy what it means to be a captain, instead of doing it himself. Always following Zoro's lead, as it was the case in Thriller Bark.

Zoro: "Stay back, I am going to face Kuma" -> Sanji interferes later
Zoro: "I'm going to sacrifice myself for my captain" -> Sanji comes out and says "but I want to be the one"

:myman:
Zoro using each SHs to for his stratagem was clean sure and showed his understanding of each SH and sanji was willing help him out with albeit reluctantly at first.. but then again also showed that he doesn't need Zoro to elaborate why he wants to take Oars out than wait for Luffy.
Just like he was the only one who stopped Luffy from making an awfully reckless decision in water 7 something a VC should have done really... not saying he is officially one.. you ddid say that was out of anger.. but anger at the fact that luffy as a captain was about to make a wild decision out of anger due to what ussop was saying.. with later zoro is the one who consoles Luffy after that miserable fight

kinda reaffirms my point of "wings" again

obviously if sanji keeps being the devil's advocate he wouldn't be adding much to the crew.. he has to school nami and take sides when it come down to it... and sure when it comes to Honor and dignity we know Zoro in regards to that

but in all honesty all i can see for zoro being the VC is basically marines or non-crew mates saying that but it not being a thing in the crew itself it just seems down right blunder from oda if he does that

I'm sticking with my primary and secondary VC belief

Pure retard logic.

But fine lets use that logic.

Sanji: * Goes to fight Oars first* -> Zoro interferes later
Luffy: " Sanji is worth 1000 men" -> Zoro: " Buh....buh ....im worth 2000 men"

I'm sorry, that's not the same.

1) when Oars appeared, the Strawhats collectively aimed at fighting him. And while Sanji shockingly realized that Oars with Luffy's shadow is going to interfere with them ( = all of them), Zoro smiled and called it interesting:
Sanji was just the first one to attack, since Oars happened to land right before him, while Zoro was located at the roof nearby.

2) The 1000/2000 men example is just the usual dick-measuring between those two in a humorous environment.

Not really comparable to Zoro taking the lead in situations where Luffy's head or authority is at stake.

How is that any different tho ? Sanji attacking first means that Sanji fucking took charge and lead it by your defintion. Like I said yall are just the kings of picking and choosing.

Hmmm...wait. Didnt you just insinuate that Sanji wanting to sacriface himself for Luffy at Thriller Bark, was just a dick measuing situation. And Sanji was just a copycat. Hmm....now you changing it when it doesnt suit you ? Funny

As I said,

In your scenario: The straw hats collectively decide to take on Oars, or rather realize Oars wants to take them on. Since Oars stood right in front of Sanji while Zoro was at distance on a roof, it is logical for Sanji to attack first - but again, the premise was that they collectively decided to do it.

Different from: Zoro telling the others to stay back, for he is the one to handle that situation. And Zoro coming forward and saying that he is the one to sacrifice himself, knocking out Sanji as latter tried to follow Zoro's lead.

Follow his lead ? See this is where you dont fucking make any sense. You berate Sanji for being second when it came to trying to sacrifice himself. Yet make excuses when Zoro attacked second after Sanji. Why cant I say Zoro followed Sanji's lead when it came to attacking Oars. Sanji was the first SH to attack him. Then Zoro attacked him. Same way Zoro was the first SH to try and sacriface himself, then Sanji tried.

By diminishing Sanji's motivations and stating that Sanji was "only following Zoro's lead". You're completely direspecting Sanji's character. Again being first to want to do something /=/ leading the sitution. If it fucking did then Sanji led the assualt on Oarz being the first SH to attack him.

Because, as I said, the moment the straw hats collectively agreed on fighting oars, it was nobody's lead.

But in the sacrificing scenario, Zoro came up with the idea of putting his captain's life above his own, thus sacrificing his ambition and his own life, with Sanji in response to that stepping in and saying that he wants to do it instead. It's not like Sanji had this in mind from the start, with Zoro just being faster at uttering those words. Sanji's response was a response to Zoro's request to Kuma.

He may get the title publicly but it won't be accepted by the strawhats, namely Sanji. It'll lead to more gags where Zoro mocks Sanji for having authority over him (but in reality he doesn't), Luffy himself won't name Zoro the VC and that's what matters. That's if it even happens at this point.

So you're right in that he may be recognized as the VC, but within the crew he wouldn't be officially recognized as one.
Pretty much this. Zoro might recognized as the VC from other people but there won't be a official VC role in the Strawhats crew. And frankly, I don't think Zoro would care much about the VC title either.

So your stating Sanji doesnt have the brain capacity to ever come up with this ? Is that it ? So Zoro has amazing mega potrayal for being able to come up with the idea to sacrifice himself.

Literal definition of clutching on straws.

The fact that this is STILL something that has to be "confirmed" or warrant any discussion is so stupid.

It's been clear since East Blue that Zoro is the first mate, the right hand man, the number 2 of the crew, the vice captain, the second strongest, etc...

Oda couldn't make it any clearer if he tried yet people still try and discuss it.
It shows the lenghts either Sanji wankers or Zoro haters go to try and downplay the character.
