Chapter Discussion What is Kaido's Important Announcement?

Kaido has an important announcement that if he announces right now will cause a lot of confusion.
We know this announcement has something to do with Kaido's son, Yamato.

What do you guys think it could be?
A wedding with one of Big Mom's daughters?
Perhaps Pudding?
If so, why would it cause confusion to announce it now?

Wedding and the next move as an alliance
Probably destroying their former enemy, tenryuubito or kill shanks and bb

If it's a wedding, and if it's pudding then sanji vs yamato is happening.
Luffy will stomp queen as his warm up fight.

But story wise it shouldn't be a wedding since their alliance is temporary and they plan to fight each other once they've taken out their common enemies.

You could argue that irl, marriage is also often temporary, so it fits perfectly with this alliance.

I think a wedding between the two crews is the obvious answer, but given that was such a big part of the last arc I'm thinking Oda might go for something else.

Maybe a formal declaration of war against the WG or something like that.

A wedding between Big Mom herself and Kaido could fit the wedding theme to consolidate the alliance and still be unexpected.

And type of partnership, alliance or subjugation must be finalized by joining the family via marriage since that's BM's motif. Its pretty well known in the OP world. It's the safe answer.

Yamato is probably trying to ditch the wedding if he's due to be married. It also begs the question, who's the bride to be?

Yeah, makes perfect sense, but then why would it cause confusion to announce it right now?

As I have said many times before and others already said in this thread it is most likely the announcement of a marriage between one of the Charlotte girls and Yamato given how Big Mom seals the alliances she makes with other criminal groups or countries by marrying her children.

Other than that it could possibly be a declaration of war against the World Government or the other Yonko crews or to reveal a big asset.

Maybe because Yamato's existence could possibly have been kept secret from most except the Calamities Orochi, the F6 and a selected few others. It's possible that the other Yonko crews, the Supernovas outside of X-Drake and the people of Wano are unaware of Yamato's existence.
Or maybe Kaido may finally announce the big war he has been waiting to declare for a long time.
Or it could be something related to the Rocks Pirates.

The weeding is the first thing that come in mind, but i dont think Oda will come with the thing that mostly readers are expecting.

the time between the alliance between kaido and bigmom and tge fire festival is 1 week that’s enough time for a ship to go from tottalnd to wano

maybe she was on bigmoms ship when bmp arrived in wano but was inside unlike every other bigmom’s children she’s bigmom’s most valuable daughter after all

Here's what we have so far:
-Kaido'a announcement about Yamato is the very last event(Kaido's choice)
-Kaido said announcing it earlier would cause confusion
-Since the F6 are being ordered to find him, the announcement needs Yamato to be present
-Everyone knows that any type of allaince with the BM requires a marriage(so the announcement being about marriage might be unlikely)

The announcement has to be at the end where the marriages, alliances, speeches or whatever is already finished. Sounds like a key point.

It isn’t gonna be a wedding. For starters, it would be rather repetitive making a wedding the center of celebration two arcs in a row. Seriously, this raid would feel far too similar to WCI’s tea party then. But the bigger reason is that there’s no weight behind it. A marriage between two minor characters where the stakes are whether Linlin and Kaido formalize their alliance, even though they are presently on good terms.

And I reckon Yamato is too young for any of the Charlottes on Wano.
