The Handmaiden (2016)- 4/5- really good movie with some great performances and an intriguing plot which zig zags.
The Great Silence (1968)- 4/5- A very unique and dark western with a realistic and bleak outlook on life. The ending is one of the best and the wintry setting makes it standout from others.

DC Super-Pets 7/10 maybe an 8 at absolute best.
Decent film, better than I expected.
I really like how thicc/muscular Wonder Woman and the new female Green Lantern were.
The "real villain" was great, although Lex was more Lackluster than Luthor for me.
It was a pretty funny and nice film, kept me laughing throughout and I love the trend of these 3D animated films stil having some 2D animated parts in them!
Great humour, very witty, quickfire stuff at some points.
I was shocked with how dark Ace's backstory was, it seemed even a lot darker than implied but still kinda dark and sad anyway. They riffed on Batman so hilariously in this and Ace paralleling with Batman was so funny and well done too.
I really like that the powered up pets became official pets of the Justice League and they were likable characters too. The tortoise was hilarious especially!
Also, there are these guinea pigs who take Spanish lessons and thus speak Spanish randomly and they all get random powers and its quite "bizarrely" funny too! One of them turns straight into a Nordic style hunk, like a sort of He-Man/Thor type BUFF as Hel humanoid hamster, like how Chopper gets with his Strength Point or so?
There's some really nice moments especially towards the end too. I love that the ice gerbil who got turned into a "water logia" by the villain, ended up with Aquaman too, that was really endearing. /ISPOILER]
My favourite version of the Justice League since the classic Bruce Timm animated series or so too!
Also my favourite version of Superman's backstory as Krypto the dog goes with him and keeps him company, so he is safe and not alone this time especially. Smallville (not the show specifically though) gets referenced by him too.
