KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON (2023). 4/5 - Scorcese gives us another banger. Leo and DeNiro are fantastic as usual but Lilly Gladstone is the standout imo. Its a demanding film with its Three hour and thirty minute runtime but its a necessary and brutal look into America's past crimes, its not for everyone, you gotta be in the mood to watch it.

Same. I didn't mind it being so long at all actually. It felt like i was binging some mini series

Damn, the runtime is the only thing keeping me away from watching it in the cinema ngl

Just saw it.
DiCaprio’s character is the dumbest man alive I swear. And his wife is deeply naive despite being a victim

Great film.

Now I’m waiting for Miyazaki and Ridley Scott to drop their next crafts

1408
Despite being billed as a horror, I saw it as more of a drama. It has a similar air to Shutter Island (with DiCaprio) as far as the room 1408 shenanigans go.
John Cusack is great as the lead actor, and I was reminded that I haven't actually seen him in that many movies.
Sam Jackson also has a minor, more subdued, role than his usual profanity filled characters. Too bad he's typecast as angry black man 90% of the time - the guy can be nuanced as well.

On a cinema, The Exorcist Believer. Its was entertaining but not scary. For a cashgrab not bad. The original and the 3rd part are way better.

And on tv I watched Cobweb pretty creepy and atmospheric. The end was wild but could have been a lot better.

Deadstream (2022)
10/10

I can't remember the last horror-comedy that was even decent. But this one was not only decent but absolutely amazing.

Not to spoil you the plot itself, but it combines a edgy online streamer with the age old haunted house trope.

And what an amazing job they did combining these two realms. We all know those youtube pranksters that would sell their grandpa's nutsack for views. Having such an asshole narcisist enter a haunted house and be, well, an asshole narcisist for views makes for a really fun watch

And the best part?
The live chat lmaooo the roasts there really read like a genuine live chat with people trolling the host.

I'd say it's the second coming of Scary Movie in the way horror and comedy are blended together

Not a Movie , It's a series.

The Worst of evil.
I didn't Expected to be this good.
- No happy Ending
- Character tension felt real
- plot was good too.

John Wick 4, I'm so f disappointed
The first trio were phenomenal and I count them as part of the best actions movies out there, at least the first and third.
This one is just outright dogshit, even ended up skipping most of of the movie

Caine is a terrible character, the french dude brought nothing to the table, overall bad acting, ending was corny
Also no idea how Wick had trouble dealing with that fat fuck in the casino especially with a bullet in his ass lmao, he fought worse dudes
Marko Zaror (Dolor in Bokya) was great tho

Caine is a dead man for anyone that shoots him from 5 meters away lmao
But sometimes you just gotta suspend your disbelief to the extreme
