What you said was that Mihawk was forced to be in Marineford to fight but.. How can they force him to be there?

Why would the marines want pick fighting mihawk when Mihawk has abandoned cross guild?
Like the marines arrive with 100 battle ships and 2 admirals ready to destroy cross guild, and then Mihawk tells them they can destroy it if they let him leave… why would the marines pick him risking their men to fight mihawk over just letting him leave so they can destroy cross guild?
mihawk joined cross guild because he doesn’t want to fight… if people arrive to fight him, then the reason he joined cross guild goes out of the window

Mihawk was at Marineford because not going meant giving up his title. Once the warlord obligation was complete he left because he had no further obligation. It’s not that no one could stop him, it’s that he’s a warlord and they’re free to do what they want.

Nope. Every time the marines saw mihawk interested in Marineford they were surprised… Even the marines didn’t expect mihawk to do anything even when he was there
