I’m getting kinda sick and tired of people saying I’m “coping” or that I have “Stockholm syndrome” or some nonsense so I’ll just lay it out for you.

There are only two characters Oda never fails to disappoint on. Luffy and Zoro.

I literally waited 4 fucking years to see Kid do something in wano and the best he got was sharing screen time with Law, only to get negged the very next arc. Loda couldn’t even let him use basic CoC.

Meanwhile Zoro not only gets ACoA, blocks hakai, and scars Kaido. Oda gave him ACoC. Dude went from no CoC to ACoC in just one arc.

Why wouldn’t I be a Zoro fan when he’s the 2nd most important character. Why would I bet against Zoro when Oda almost always surpasses expectations with him? Why would I continue to be invested in characters Oda has shown he doesn’t care about?

People need to let go off their petty internet arguments and just enjoy the manga for what it is.

If Oda really cared about zoro he would of given him more unique power up and cool backstory... what we get is just backround character sometimes engaging in fights

You want to enjoy the manga bro, don't become a fan of side characters and cheerleaders. Luffy, Zoro, Shanks and Mihawk, they are the ones you should be stanning. I don't know how people actually choose to like or dislike a character, just think from the heart, you get drawn to characters automatically and you will be satisfied then. I started watching OP early on and that early OP made me a fan of the East Blue SHPs. But even among them Luffy and Zoro are my favorites followed by Sanji.

Fake hype, fake rivalry just to prolong the story. Take the easy route the easy route, bet on Luffy or Zoro.

Sanji will have his moments here and there but he will always be the hype tool for the arc villain since Zoro is fanservice and has to look cool at all times, Luffy isn't likely to take a major L like he did vs Kaido unless its vs Imu or somethin.g
