So, Zoro is much more relatable and appealing.

I like Luffy better than Zoro, but much like all the Strawhats they're all very close in where I would rank. I honestly think that should be considered more admirable than it is.

Because zoro is not the main character of this series, and yet he keeps having feats of a main character. That's what makes him so controversial

I guess that's Oda's doing displaying how even a secondary crew member to the captain can be as powerful as the former. Beckman himself might be as powerful as Shanks judging off what the vivre card dictates.

I guess Oda values this aspect, like a back to back aspect and the importance of crewmates.

Its not me saying that Zoro is a more relevant character in the story but rather the reaction he entices.
In this very thread if you want to get attention and generate massive amount of replies just mention Zoro in positive, negative or neutral, which all three of these terms are subjective in this context.

And its not just limited to thread that has Zoro's name in it, that isn't even necessary, instead you talk about Mihawk, talk about Ryuma, swordsmanship in general and it wound entice massive reaction.

Its not just limited to this forum, on Youtube comments, on twitter, facebook groups, topics linked to Luffy would have few responses and people would get over it but with Zoro people go ape shit.

Well, it is engaging to a lot of people, isn't it? If he is as boring and corny as you claim he is, then he'd not gain the reaction he had from the fandom.

Basically, pre-timeskip Zoro have a lot of humane traits and growth. Post-Timeskip Zoro is like Saitama. Beating his enemies fairly easy with no growth or character development. He's more becoming like typical Shounen badass character aka Vegeta rip-off (Zoro > Vegeta btw).

What kind of Zoro's character development that could only be seen in pre-TS but not post-TS?

Zoro vs Mr. 1 was the prime example of character growth. Now, Zoro can't beat anyone with an extreme diff.
