Sandai is a great sword with all due respect.. carries his legacy entering Grandline and the 2nd sword zoro is most proficient at wielding or in other words the 2nd most dearest to him.. not even Shusui.

if It breaks here would be a big shock to zoro.. Nidai would be a suitable and the only worthy replacement.

Or you finally noticed there isn't any difference between Enma and Shusui as he was using it normally against King without having his haki drained. Sandai is staying with Zoro if he will be exchanging any sword it will be Enma for Nidai. :cheers:

The swords have the same grade so they are roughly equal to each other. Oden's haki and Enma's magical power is unrivalled tho
And Shusui is already a black blade, so it has not the potential of becoming a Saijo O Wazamono.

Sandai Kitetsu is just a Wazamono. No way it stays with Zoro

I still think that the original plan Oda had for this arc was for Zoro to go from Sandai to Nidai but Oda changed his mind and introduced Enma instead.

Something as simple as both Enma and Nidai having the same colour sheaths makes me very much doubt that Zoro will have both.

with the introduction of CoA sword quality doesn't matter any more. all that ever mattered is the hardness of the sword.

there's two ways to increase the hardness of the sword:
1-temporary: infusing the sword with haki.
2-permanent: forging a black blade.

if sandai broke that'll mean zoro's haki is weak, which i don't ever see happening.
honestly zoro forging black blades is way better and more fitting than getting new swords.
