It's very fortunate for Jozu that he was in the warm climate of Marineford. Doffy had no such advantages and still uses his raw strength to break out despite the deep freeze. And yeah, if Doffy decides to use Overheat on an ice attack of equal size, he'd accomplish the same thing.

You missed the point, the point wasn't to say Teach was top tier when scarred Shanks or something. It was to highlight Teach's potential. He could scar Shanks in the past, with both being around the same age, growing in strength. So it's a bit far-fetched to assume Shanks totally eclipsed him in growth rate. It was the point of Shanks' remark with him saying the only reason he didn't become a commander was because he was hiding his real strength until he found the real moment, but he was already a veteran, so reached his peak of strength, which is why he was waiting for the right devil fruit to grow stronger

It's very fortunate for Doffy that Aokiji was only there to warn him, didn't freeze him to the core while hands in his pockets and still almost got killed while Jozu was facing Aokiji in a war as an enemy, with his hands full freezing him to the core. And lol at overheat that got easily blocked by an injured Law doing a thing to Aokiji's signature attack

But Shanks did eclipse him? Shanks was fighting on par with Whitebeard, making Jozu sweat from his CoC and splitting the sky. Meanwhile, Teach was running away from Akainu after obtaining two devil fruits. With the Yami fruit, he's only on par with the Commanders and below first mates. This is the same guy who was powerless against a dying but pissed off Whitebeard. I can't see Katakuri or Marco struggling with a Whitebeard in that condition.

I said that Overheat would take out any attack of similar scale. So, Ice Partisan? Overheat beats that. The heat/fire is a good balance against the cold/ice. But Ace has wider ranged fire attacks, so it's obvious he'll be able to handle those particular attacks better.

King is enough to win this...adding Doffy is just overkill.....sure after Wano Zoro will be able to beat King but currently there's no way....

I don't see why Current Zoro would have any problems in defeating King, let alone Doffy

Asura + Enma Training = several times stronger than the same Zoro who pushed Fujitora's gravity away
