Gonna hit y'all with some harsh red pills.

Zoro is a character designed purely to draw in chuuni readers who would naturally gravitate to edgier material like Naruto. Oda never intended for Zoro or his "arc" to matter. Why is it his backstory is the least developed of all the Strawhats? Why is it he hasn't grown as a character besides shallow pretenses like "muh captain?" It's because he's just there to do cool shit and placate the demo he was designed to appeal to. With the introduction of characters like Trafalgar Law, Eustass Kid, Zoro's necessity as the edgelord character has deteriorated. Ultimately, Zoro is the most expendable Strawhat for Luffy will gain allies that are just as strong, if not stronger than Zoro is, and they have defined arcs that will reach a satisfying conclusion through combat, whereas Zoro's is just "getting stronger." That would be nice, but Zoro's strength relation to the rest of the story is undefined and unimportant, so it never really matters if he gets stronger. No one ever mentions the people Zoro defeated, nor does it ever play a factor in the story in a significant way.

His most defining moment in the story was even fittingly described when he uttered the words "nothing happened." For nothing narratively engaging or rewarding came about it. Kuma was never planning on killing Luffy either, and would've just as easily bullshitted an excuse to the World Government like he did in canon.

It seemed like Oda was finally going to give narrative weight to the weightless swordsman in Wano, but even that was merely to give him a new sword. A sword who's rules and conditions will not be consistent with Zoro's use of it, as Oden isn't a brainless power fantasy like Zoro, and is a character with deep importance to the story of One Piece. Oh sure, Zoro's gonna make his black, but that's to sell him up as the edgy character because black is cool and edgy, kids. Please buy Enma Zoro fig at a store near you.
I think I'll take the blue pill

Good effort. However, I wont really compare a western dragon against a pteranodon which can breath fire. The western dragons are typically a huge creature in popular fictions, while pteranodon is quite small.
But i'm not even the one making the comparisons, Oda is.

Like Zoro is just a guy and Oda went out his way to put him in a situation that directly matches the one of Ryuma cutting a dragon and gave Zoro a power to summon Western dragon aura and produce fire which he never ever does again... Like you have to admit this isn't a coincidence or Oda being lazy here... that entire scene was a reference to Monster with Zoro as a dragon

And remember Zoro is just a normal guy yet Oda went through all that for him that imitate a dragon... Now king literally has a dragon devil fruit and Oda made sure he has a flying variety and for some goddamn reason the man an produce flames... Like if Zoro just gets a random power out of thin air to justify Oda making him imitate a dragon, then what's up with King? Like This man has fire powers seemingly for no goddamn reason just like Zoro having fire powers so I doubt Oda doesn't know there's an obvious similarity.... And of course he's then second in command of Kaido and he's and swordsman so really there's no way these are ALL COINCIDENCES

And btw you are thinking about pterodactyls being small... King is a pteranodon.... A regular Pteranodon is bigger than a truck in Size... So a One piece pteranodon coupled wth the fact that King himself is massive means there's no way he's Small... I can guarantee King is bigger than those Game of thrones dragons even

What kanji is used when gyukimaru talks about ryuma slaying a dragon ?
I think the magazine is implying that Gyukimaru is talking about western dragons

Because the magazine says that Ryuma cut the dragon over the flower capital and that detail about the flower capital is directly lifted from Gyukimaru's statement

So it would be weird that they are referring to the Gyukimaru statement in this magazine when talking about the flower capital and yet they aren't referring to same statement when saying he killed a western dragon

Lol I honestly forgot they mentioned it. But when was the last time Zoro's victories were mentioned since then?
I thought getting bounties is a direct acknowledgement of feats... This page itself is literally discussion of Zoro's feats in relation to why he got that bounty... Are you saying that after this then Zoro's bounties no longer had anything to do with his feats?

And besides, every time Zoro does anything, someone always comments on it... Hell some times people confuse him for the captain even when he doesn't do anything
