Oden literally says it was the Kozuki clan that closed Wano to the rest of the world, likely during the void century given that he learned the reason at Laugh Tale. He was struggling with Wano's laws forbidding him to leave and have contact with outsiders during his youth and his return was mainly brought on by his desire to open the country. Kaido didn't make Wano an isolated nation, though he definitely perpetuated it, it was in that state long before the story began.

Chapter 1025:

Kaido the strongest ONI with the dragon fruit.

Chapter 1025 - Kaido is disappointed with Yamato because as an ONI you have to rule over human.
VC card of Zoro after many translations confirmed that Zoro went to Onigashima as an ONI exterminator.
Chapter 1023 - Ryuma will is connected with Zoro and fate is moving Zoro to revenge the shimotuki clan based.

ZKk is coming out pretty fine.

The ONi exterminator will not rest until this happen:

Zoro being a shimetsuki and respected as ryumas heritage... yeah, that will likely happen.

But zoro killing kaido? Nope, that won't happen.
A little bit off topic but I believe bb will get kaido's df just like whitebeard's.

And I believe that king killed zoro's father.

At this stage it's indeed either Zoro or BB that will kill Kaido but the latter seems very unlikely as a scenario because BB is a profiter and this is not exactly an optimal situation to show up.

There are many pirates that could mess up with him, another yonko present in Big Mom, even the CP0 that could report the situation and eventually stay in contact with the Marine.

It's not about being untouchable, kaido's df gives him a natural durability which nobody else has (assuming his scales etc comes from his df). On top of that he would have higher regeneration powers like all awakened zoans.

He already has gained a high attack power (gura gura no mi) and his darkness fruit negates any df. So his "only" fear is haki. There is no known devil fruit which negates or weakens that. So the only thing to do against haki based attacks is to increase your defence/durability, which is bb's "only" weakness, as we all know. And for that, kaido's df seems to be the best choice.

Alternatively marco's power would fit him very well but that seems pretty unlikely.

The problem is that his main enemy, and even the subordinate of his enemy has alr the tools to counter it.

A boost that would be useless against someone like Luffy, who is able to do internal damage. And we are yet to know if the durability is some racial stuff or part of his df. Might be both combined tbh.
