Even more pointless. We already know how far is Zoro from the likes like Kaido or Big Mom yet and that YC Level dudes can't damage them (at least those who don't have AdCoA). It's just a scenario to trash Zoro and hype already hyped Kaido, nothing more. If he CAN at least scar him and weaken him, then yes, it would not be pointless, but like that? No, thanks. It won't do anything, it won't lead to anything.

Did you read my post? Zoro would fight Kaido in order to give Luffy some time to recover.
Its tbh the only logical scenario in which Zoro would ever touch Kaido. The Oden flashback basically confirmed that enma isn't a magic yonko slaying sword. Oden did the same thing with habiriki that he did with enma. It was never Enma that gave Oden the ability to cut Kaido, it was Oden's own strength that accomplished that feat.
Zoro isn't going from high diffing Pica and getting 1 shot by Killer(whereas Luffy tanked a similar hit by katakuri and went on to fight for hours more and win) to being able to land a critical hit on kaido.
Anyways Zoro taking a beating by Kaido in order to help Luffy recover would show Zoro's insane endurance and his devotion to Luffy while giving Luffy the edge he needs to beat Kaido.
