The CP0 may be here in part to help Big Mom having another mental switch given what they may know about Mother Carmel, and given what happened when Oda has Mother Carmel's destroy the reveal of who MC was and what she really thought of Linlin and her friends may have an even stronger effect on Linlin.

I'll hate to see this, but given the ridiculous plot devices used on Big Mom and the situations she went through I can see Oda doing it.

Tbh i didn't expect G4 to still have a timelimit at this point.

When Luffy used G4 against the Number, he was huffing after he transformed back - that already should have changed your expectations. G4 will always have a limit since it requires alot of Haki to maintain and as we know, Haki has a limit.

LOL. Do yourself a favor and go back and read the fight.

BOTH parties collapsed after their attacks. Luffy fell down a hole. Kata literally fell forward. Then Luffy got up and Kata stood in front of him and collapsed AGAIN. Luffy walked away. 10 minutes, 20, an hour, the next fucking day, who cares how much time as passed? Luffy walked away from the fight, aka he won. Kata even asked him if he'd defeat Big Mom, indicating he won. \

Actually no. I can link my theory if you want but I combed through the whole series. The closest time Luffy saw Zoro do something like this was Whiskey peak, when Luffy misunderstood the situation and tried to beat up Zoro instead

Zoro never does such things in front of Luffy until now. I mean Luffy knows Zoro is the strongest on his crew just by sheer use of CoO but he actually never sees the times Zoro like really steps up. Remember in Fishman island, when the whole time Jimbei was telling Luffy not to fight Hody, yet Zoro beat Hody fuckin off screen and no one ever mentions it. Stuff like that. Luffy is soecific never aware of these things.

And that’s why I think Zoro isn’t yet officially vice captain. To the readers we see everything but Luffy never sees the things the readers are seeing. But that’s changing in this fight

Luffy don't have to see it but he also look at Zoro as the one to help take care of things and listen to him .
We saw this from since the beginning of the manga when luffy was trap vs buggy .
We saw him wonder how Robin and he others get beat when Zoro was there in skypiea .
He also he let Zoro take care of things when they were going EL and listen to him when Ussop wanted to come back .
There other eg but the point is this nothing new so there is no need for him to be official VC when they already like that .

- Zoro uses the attack "Black Dragon Tornado/Kokujou Oo Tatsu Maki" against Kaidou and saves Luffy again (it is the drawing he has made).
- Kaidou is damaged and notices Oden's sword.
