It's tough, man. I'm so sick and tired of us not getting enough pitching. I remember when we traded Corbin to the Diamondbacks for 2 good seasons of Haren and trading for a relief pitcher (who didn't work out, btw) by giving up some dude named MIKE CLEVINGER just to name a few. Not to mention not having a good farm system for the longest time and signing or trading the wrong expensive players all the time.
We have the best player in Trout, had the best defender in Simmons, and probably the most talented player in Ohtani but every year our pitching sucks so bad. Thank God we found Bundy last year and it looks like Heaney is about to take the next step this year but other than that, pitching is still ASS.
I remember being excited for Pujols since he was still considered the best player in the game when he signed but I knew the contract was gonna be really bad at the end. Turns out he only gave us 1 really good healthy season out of 10 for the life of the deal and he's gonna retire right after it ends.
