kaidos dream is to die.Oda keeps throwing that into our faces. I don’t see why kaido would die if Oda wants us to think that. also have you ever thought about the aftermath of kaido dying? What happens to his body they just bury it? It doesn’t make much sense for him to die and no kaido can’t heal from everything,

no kaidos dream is to die a death like wb roger or oden

a death where people talk of who died not who killed him

you talk of roger not the 2 fodder who killed him and how roger inspired the great pirate era

you talk about wb and how he died standing (dont even know who got the kill)

or oden who died after the hour of legends
kaido himself said theyd speak of his death for years to come

ts not the first time he lost or got captured. He gets captured all the time. He just escapes, Oda literally told us this in his introduction. He got captured 18 times. Literally noting they can do to stop him.

Luffy will overcome hybrid Kaido- the strongest form of Kaido- in a fight, but the thing the Scabbards talked about- it ain’t over until Kaido is dead- will then come into play, super Zoan recovery rate and Kaido’s own unnatural body will come into play, he’ll recover, go into dragon form and that’s when Zoro kills him- like Ryuma, killing a dragon, not a dragon-man hybrid.

If ZKK happens, I can guarantee that’s how it will go down.

Yep, but Zoro will also weaken Kaido by opening his wound for Luffy to beat him 1 v 1.. i see Luffy definitely getting a 1-3 chapters where he faces Kaido 1 v 1 to show he can keep up with that tier. Luffy knocks him down, while he himself is out. The difference is Kaido gets up faster cause Awakening and Zoro finishes him.

that’s not an actual good example bud. A good example is doflamingo where luffy beat him despite law planning to kill him for years and forming a weapon to kill doflmaingo specifically.

That’s an actual good example since it also happens post timeskip against the main villain who was built up but your bringing up pre timeskip old villains who weren’t built up at all

Lmao the fact Oda keeps making people say kaido will die and kaido himself wanting to die just proves he won’t. Oda will have the marines capture him which is pretty obvious.

Wano is a mix of alabasta and enies lobby in story beats and how the arc was set up. Kaido will be captured by the marines pretty obvious especially Witt the vegapunk connection.

Kaido wants to die gloriously. The three deaths he aspires to are Roger, Whitebeard and Oden.

Roger was killed by fodder, but he died gloriously because he deliberatley started the Golden Era of piracy with his death.

Whitebeard reaffirmed that One Piece existed, took on an army as a dying old man, received not a single cowards blow in the hundred of attacks he took

Oden had the hour of legends. Him fighting Kaido wasn’t the glorious part of his death, it was the hour saving his comrades by putting his own body on the line that Kaido was amazed with.

Kaido in general wants a great death like those, ones that are talked about for years to come as an extraordinary way to end a life. Death completes a person, for Kaido, he can’t go out in a boring fashion as an old man.

So yes, Kaido did think that if the Scabbards could kill him that would fit, because that’s in his view a great way to die. If they could manage it, which they couldn’t. But it’s not like Kaido only wants to die at the hands of a samurai. It’s the end that’s unchangeable to him, not so much the means. He must die in a glorious fashion. What is that fashion, eh, not caring, so long as it is great. If that comes at the hands of Oden’s retainers, Kaido’s happy for that. If it comes in his dreamed of greatest battle the world has ever seen, that’s cool as well.
