Yeah, look Carrot saw Perospero and get separated of Nami, because her priority for the moment is Perospero.
Yamato could have been included in that pic to, but Luffy send her with Momo.
Not my problem if you don't read the manga.
She was shown in the same chapter than the panel on chapter 989 and its only at 993 that we see one panel of Carrot spottng Perospero.. She was still in the live floor when the Strawhats were together.

Where is Carrot when they about to toast, what's the excuse for this one?

1. Outcast. Check....Minus for Carrot
2. Strong focus in an arc. Check...Minus for Carrot
3. Special interaction with Luffy. Check....Minus for Carrot.
4. Actual motivation to sail? Check...Minus for Carrot
5. Potentially foreshadowed? Check. Minis for Carrot

The other SHs went through the same thing and Carrot is doing the opposite.
And she's about halfway in her character arc, so Yamato will get a lot more development and exposition.

Might as well elaborate.

Focus: All and I mean ALL of the SHs were one of the main focuses of an arc. They achieved this within less than 40 chapters or so. Carrot, after over 200 chapters and 3 arcs has yet to get any notable focus.

Outcast: ALL of the SHs were outcasts in some way and had sad pasts. Carrot, as far as we know so far, has been very happy. There isn't the slightest hint of any mink feeling out of place.

Interaction with Luffy: ALL of the SHs has had a good interaction with Luffy. Over 200 chapters and all Carrot has done is bit Luffy in a comedicmoment.

Motivation to travel: ALL of the SHs had very personal reasons to go with Luffy. Carrot only left cause she was simply curious about the world.

For those who believe in patterns:
Zoro-Chopper-Jinbe
Nami-Robin
Usopp-Franky
Sanji-Brooke

For a quick example, both Usopp and Franky:
-Lead a gang named after them
-were known as troublemakers in their home town
-joined after the SHs got a new ship tied to someone they know
-got into a serious fight with Luffy
-Main villains were animal themed and worked undercover
-Usopp foreshadowed Franky as he was the first one to mention a shipwright

Carrot and Yamato need to follow a pattern with Nami and Robin. The pattern?

-Both tried to leave the crew for their own good
-Both started off as potential bad guys and Luffy didn't like them much at first
-Both had animal-like main villains
-Both had mothers killed by the villains
-Both had marines adding fuel to their pain(Captain Nezumi being bribed by Arlong, Buster Call for Robin)
-Both couldn't do anything to the villains as they were too weak
-Nami wore Robin's Miss Sunday outfit before the latter's debut(foreshadowing)

It's not hard to find similarities with Yamato but none with Carrot

Carrot4Nakama tends to be very dismissive of patterns cause every one declares Carrot has no chances. Like, every single one.

I think the only thing Carrot has over Yamato is that she has a clear role on the ship. Yamato wins in every other category.

She doesn't honestly. Carrot doesn't have any unique lookout abilities and jumping really high, something Chopper and Sanji can already do, isn't one of them.
I think he meant in the sense that Carrot would have a definite role on the crew while Yamato has not demonstrated any particular skill that would be needed on the ship. I agree though, Carrot doesn't have unique lookout abilities..

I know what he meant. And I was saying that lookout isn't a definite role for Carrot since there is nothing special about her. All of the SHs can do the lookout role the same way Carrot does it.

Come to think of it. Kyoshiro actually fits some of the usopp franky pattern. Got into a serious fight, not with Luffy thought, but with Luffy's right hand man Zoro

You got the Kyoshiro Family, named after him, was a troublemaker back in the day. Worked undercover and main villain with animal themed.

The only hole in here is that there will be a new ship, i personally think the Sunny will be the SH ship up until EoS so I doubt we ll have a new one if ever Kyoshiro joined

Bellamy will take this role.

It’s not just that they get a new ship but they get a new flag.

Bellamy lead a pirate crew the Bellamy Pirates
Bellamy was in a serious fight with Luffy (twice)
Bellamy reuniting with Luffy will give Luffy a brand new indestructible flag

Makes sense since he got luffy's vivre card, and got into a real fight with luffy

Good point!

On a scale from 1 to 100, 1 being the worst character

Bellamy is a good 70, very good characterisation

Carrot is a 10, maybe 15 if i'm generous but overall poor characterisation

Since some people lean towards the anime for Carrot4Nakama copes, the anime also added a lookout scene as Sunny approaches the Tori Gate... Guess who was acting as the lookout? The correct answer is definitely not Carrot...

Carrot is like a half-baked (pre-TS) Bellamy (except that the latter is fearless and not fainthearted)...

Tama has a possibility to join. She is getting too much highlight in the new chapters. Luffy may want to fulfill Ace's promise to her. Also the romance dawn trio basically adopted her
They dont want to listen. See how another user replied to me in the previous page? "No children please11". They not only choose to dont consider the fact that its hinted Roger had Shanks and Buggy in his crew since they were babies, but they also choose to dont consider the fact that O-Tama developed more connections with the Strawhats than their idols Carrot and Yamato ever did.

Fun fact, the Anime confirmed us about the content of the 2 phoneglifs in Wano. Or at least what they don't contain. (And btw that appears even on the Manga LMAO)
And guess what, no story of the MInk-Kozuki relationship, and if have to bet, i would bet not even the story of the Kozukis.
That's something we'll se in Laugh Tale.

NO MINK has ever known about their story, not even the Dukes os Zou Inu/Neko, but now we have a Mink that could surpass both of them and learn the real story of the World and her race.

Yeah they like her like a little kid they want to protect. I do not think will be alright with taking her on the crew to become pirates.

My guy fits these patters so well, minus the ship thing tho. The fight could come after Wano, maybe he challenges Luffy to a 1v1 for Robin

.
Zoro - Chopper - Jinbe
Nami - Robin - Vivi

- Started as a bad guy
- All left the crew for the good of others.
- All were screwed by the WG specifically (Nezumi for Nami, Spandam for Robin, Warlord Imu and Gorosei for Vivi)
- Couldn’t do anything to Crocodile
- Still called a crew mate so could return as one

Usopp - Franky - Bellamy

- Lead a gang named after them (Bellamy Pirates)
- Big troublemaker in mocktown
- Wont replace the ship but Bellamy will return with an upgraded flag
- Got into a serious fight with Luffy
- Animal themed main enemy who deceived the general public (Kuro/Lucci/Doffy)

Sanji - Brook - Unknown
