The way more Moriah looks in the anime, he seemed rather nervous and scared what could happened. This is same guy who pissed taht former crew member is dead. The way blackbeard said "you like party don't you" it seems like a fight to me or something. Aokiji we have no idea weather he part of blackbeard main crew or just ally just spying on him.

Dude it's no coincidence Blackbeard has a lot of tie ins to Xebec, and he wants Moria to join. He doesn't care about Moria's grudge he will conquer him like Xebec did the people below him

Blackbeard possible has Inheriting the will of the Xebec that might true. He also wanted Ace's join his crew and as well wanted the Flame-Flame Fruit for Jesus burgess. He never got those for his crew member or additional member So it's hard to determine weather or not moriah lives through this or weather he join the main crew under Blackbeard.
