Oda threw Zoro the bone of having Base CoC so that the exposition of CoC could be delved into further with Kaido and Luffy. It had none of the signs of adv CoC when Zoro used it, and it makes zero narrative sense for it to be advanced.

So in your mind Zoro's "advanced CoC" is stronger than Roger's advanced CoC because he scarred Kaido where Roger didn't? And BM, and Rocks, and Shanks.
Or is it clear that only Enma (which was specifically HYPED AS THE BLADE THAT SCARRED KAIDO) was helpful in scarring Kaido?
