So basically mihawk not actually trying to fight any damn body.
He refuses to engage Shanks, the only “swordsman” an apparently not interested in the other Yonko.

Why dont people get that those 5 people Kaido was thinking of are the pirates he respects and holds in high regard, thats why he was wondering if Luffy would be the same as them and during their fight Kaido has slowly started to respect Luffy.

Big Mom literally fought Kaido for 3 days to a standstill and has never been portrayed as anything less than an extreme diff opponent for Kaido. Blackbeard will undoubtably be stronger than Kaido when Luffy face him, so they can definitely compete with Kaido.
I am not going to go into the admirals vs yonkou debate here since thats a minefield topic which isn’t what this thread about. Regardless, all the characters listed are no doubt among the top-tier (or was in their prime).

Sorry, can you point to the panel where Kaido said “only these 5 characters can compete with me”? I can’t seem to find that line anywhere. I do recall that Kaido say only a handful of the strongest can use aCOC, which coincidentally Big Mom can use.
Regardless, let me just rephrase a bit. You point to this scene as meaning these are the top 5 strongest characters. Thats a completely separate topic from what OP is trying to do, which is to push some weird agenda about how Mihawk is YC3 level. You are talking about completely things.
