I mean most of BB crew is those who were previous pirate captains or people who didn’t work under others well before. And Croc working under someone for the express purpose of betraying them later (like how the rox pirates worked) would fit with BBs them

The only one that was an actual leader before was Shiryu, and even then he wasnt one anymore when BB met him, Crocodile on the other hand is too big of a deal for Oda to write him taking the knee imo

What do you mean? All the level 6 prisoners are likely to be former captains. At the very least Lafitte and Pizarro are former leaders
