Zoro being surprised by the output of the cut after cutting more than he wanted (tree->cliff) should make that self evident. It's not the base haki, but the overdrafting and focusing of it. You can't cut Kaido without ryuo, and Zoro can't Kaido without unleashing Enma.

But most of that is about Luffy killing people, not about the villains killing other people.

What is for you "advanced Armament"? Cause for me infusing your blade with haki is already advanced armament usage, as it simply describes a technique/control based ability, not an inherently greater grade of CoA quality or some.
Internal destruction haki is just the even further advanced version of the more brawler specific barrier haki application.
If "advCoA" is for you the "internal destruction CoA", then no, they and Oden do not have it.
Their swords were PENETRATING Kaido's skin, which they were able to do, cause the blade's efficiency was boosted and that's where the damage came from, not from some internal desstruction haki blasts.

And as I said, for the Oden Nitoryu Totsuka move they explicitly went for CoA hardened weapons, as it gives the blade even further power and durability in comparison to their befiorehand use of CoA in its natural fluid form on their blades, as hardened CoA > it's non hardened form obviously.
Barrier haki = CoA infusion on blades technique wise, just different applications.
Kawamatsu's fighting style even relies on barrier haki like sword swings for example.

Nope he has other interviews discussing that he doesn't use death as a narrative unless it's necessary in the story to him. He doesn't take death lightly,that's why he rarely does it
