Powers & Abilities Did Luffy just use his ultimate attack on Kaido?

Was Luffy's Supreme Kong Gun his ultimate attack?

For 大猿王銃, I get: Great Monkey King Gun.
For
大猿 I get: Big Monkey.

Both Google translation.

Again, you fail to realise kanjis have a context and several meanings.

You are telling me I'm breaking up words when it's you using two different words to suit your agenda. What a joke.

Don't be retarded. I'm using official translation. You're using headcanon.

I can also post Eten's post again, there's an order between KG, KKG and SKG:

"The kanjis are 覇猿王銃, literal translation would be Supreme Monkey King Gun
In comparison, KG is Monkey King Gun猿王銃
KKG is Great Monkey King Gun大猿王銃"

Again, you're the one making a fuss over it.
I'm making a fuss because you're being an idiot on purpose.

I'm telling you that "大猿" and "大蛇" are actual mythical creatures. You can't just break those words up.

Large/Great Ape = King Kong

Large/Great Serpent = Orochi

It's like me telling you "Great Britain" is a place, and you're replacing "Great" with another word. You can't do that. That's not how it works. It's one thing.

Here you go. Great Ape

https://dragonball.fandom.com/wiki/Great_Ape

and Orochi

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamata_no_Orochi

Lmao, this thread is basically sanjikun vs everybody.

But OT though, I think Supreme/Over Kong Gun should be King Kong Gun simply coated with Conqueror's Haki. Now you might say the name is different and there could be a "Supreme/Over King Kong Gun" but many other users already demonstrated that SKG is basically KKG + Adv CoC with the same stance and such. Good examples would be Zoro's Three Dragon Style against King, then he changes to King Of Hell Three Dragon Style coated in CoC against King's final attack. Sanji's Ifrit Jambe against Queen also is a good example. The first words of the attacks changes but the techniques' names is still the same (Three Dragon Style/Jambe).

I'm making a fuss because you're being an idiot on purpose.
All you do is insulting someone without bringing up valid arguments. Who's the real idiot here?

You know, people been telling me to ignore your ignorant ass but guess what? I'll thoroughly debunk your nonsense over several pages, so the next time when you're butting into a discussion with this BS, I can easily link this thread in case, everyone already knows how your nonsense got already debunked. I gladly take my time over this, as long as I can stop wasting my time at the next pointless discussion, lol. Anyway, next:

Once again, there's the kanji 大猿 and 大猿王銃 - you know both are fundamentally different words as a whole? The one is about Large Ape, another one about the Great Monkey King (Gun).

No matter how much you try twisting the context; the official translation is obviously there and a superior version was introduced with "Supreme".

I'm telling you that "大猿" and "大蛇" are actual mythical creatures.
You did great; however, as I said, it's not the case with 大猿王銃.
You cannot simply equalize two different kanjis into one because this one kanji is about a mythical creature. Japanese is difficult - if somebody could translate kanjis this easy, nobody would really struggle for it. Take certain kanjis out and you have completely different words.

Again, context matter. You neglect this part, heck, you even try to argue against Eten's translation. Get out of here with your wannabe Japanese.

It's like me telling you "Great Britain" is a place, and you're replacing "Great" with another word.
Again, you are the one taking things out of context.

As far as things stand, this is the meaning of SKG and KKG:

"The kanjis are 覇猿王銃, literal translation would be Supreme Monkey King Gun

In comparison, KG is Monkey King Gun猿王銃
KKG is Great Monkey King Gun大猿王銃"

KKG is Great Monkey King Gun.
SKG is Supreme Monkey King Gun.
King King King Kong Gun (non-canon) is
Great Great Great Monkey King King King Gun.
Where is the Large Ape reference again? All moves are about Monkey Kings; and Supreme Monkey Kings is above Great Monkey King Gun. Hell, there are two mythological monkey gods which can be refered with upcoming techniques...

The move is literally called "King Kong". Do you know what King Kong is?

"大猿" is supposed to stand for "King Kong". You can't just split it into two.

There is no creature called "Over Kong". Just like "大蛇"/Great Serpent for Culverin means Orochi. You can't just replace Kanji as you please. "Great Britain" is an actual place. "Supreme Britain" is not a thing.

You're breaking apart words as you please. That's not how it works.

Think Over Kong Gun is his strongest move so far in the series. I’m very disappointed that it didn’t create any kind of lasting impact on Kaido. I did not expect Kaido to be done and out after that, but Oda could have shown Over KG damaging Kaido more than any other attack shown so far.

But to be fair to Luffy, Kaido’s strongest attack so far (Thunder Bagua in drunken state) hasn’t shaken off Luffy either. He instantly bounced back after he got hit by Kaido’s thunder bagua in drunken state (Kaido’s thunder bagua in drunken state seems to be his strongest attack so far).
So, I’m kind of skeptical on being too disappointed with Luffy. But Oda should have surely handled both Kaido and Luffy’s attacks better

Once again,

from the top angle:

King Kong Gun

Over Kong Gun

From other perspectives

King Kong Gun

Over Kong Gun

There's literally no difference between the two moves. It is KKG infused with COC.
I'm literally laughing reading through this entire thread, all of this just for one poster lmao. Tbf he put in years worth of KKG wank, he got his heart and brain broken by Oda this week.

We know since Dressrosa that a basic Kong Gun is nothing compared to a KKG, so the amplified versions (or similar attacks) should work like that as well, yeeting Kaido on the ground and pushing him a few meters more back is not emphasizing the difference of strength of these attacks at all....
Purposefully done by Oda because he prepares a new power up and he needs it to be seen as that super duper powerful compare to G4.

There is a reason this shit looks weaker than a g2+g3 stamp.
