Sure, he does have impressive abilities but you don't get to factor in Katakuri's good attributes that are better than Zoro and then ignore the same from Zoro. Distracted Kaido? The dude's an FS user and couldn't stop Zoro with 30 broken bones from leaving a scar on him even after the guy challenged him to take his head. He couldn't evade Tatsumaki, yet proceeded to dance around Snakeman. You don't get to be stronger than people just from dodging attacks either.

Kaido didn't use FS until he had to deal with Hydra, pretending otherwise is cap.
Kaido's neck was twisted and he was focused on killing Luffy, go back and reread it if you have to, he was absolutely distracted, and he underestimated Zoro.

he didn't try to evade tatsumaki, he was trying to swallow Luffy, who Zoro was meant to be protecting...

he used dragonic culverin to escape, with his tail mimicing Luffy's snakeman at full speed while using FS, he didn't do any of that while sober and half heartedly battling the R5...
