Powers & Abilities Kaido and Big Mom together is to much.

With the War starting in the next few chapters (Hopefully). Even with Jinbei joining the fray, the combined forces of Kaido and Big Mom seem insurmountable. With the Calamities, Flying Fighters, and the strong members of the Charlotte family Big Mom brought to Wano, the Strawhat Alliance forces are outmatched in terms of strength. So there are a few possibilities all of them with there own pros and cons, to even the field.
1) Something needs to happen to Big Mom before the confrontation.
Kaido is the main focus of the Arc, and he's the one everyone is gunning for. Even with Three Supernovas (Luffy, Law, and Kidd) that still won't be enough. Having the Group either split up even more is just a losing situation for the Allies. Taking Big Mom out could be as simple as making her Sleep during the War or something.
2) The Marines/WG show up.
This is one of the more popular Theories. Having an Admiral there to fight either Yonko, fighting Big Mom for the War or Fighting Kaido weakening him to the point where either Luffy can deliver the final blow or the Supernovas together can. Maybe we can see some stronger Vice Admirals and even some CP0 agents fight some of the Charlotte family. So that the alliance can focus on the Beast Pirates.
3) Nekomamushi bringing the Whitebeard Pirates.
While this is the one most likely going to happen. The big thing is how much are they going to do, when they arrive? This one really depends on at what point they join the War at.

Well Kaido's son is there, he may stall BM. Another option is that Kaido or BM has some glaring weakness. For example, Enel was far stronger than Luffy during Skypeia. But Enel lost due to elemental disadvantage.

Such a weakness can neutralize one of the Yonkous.

If it's just one Yonko yes, it's easy for the alliance. Just take out the 3 captains and you still have at least 7 dudes around commander level.
And neko is probably going to bring some reinforcements.
At least with big mom here they have a challenge. And what is perfect is that it won't be her whole crew, just what's needed for them to be above and for the alliance to have the odds against them.

I think the alliance is severely outnumbered in Veteran lvl fighters . Kaido and Big Mom have Drake , Page One , 4 other Flying 6 , Perospero , Daifuku , Apoo , Compote

But i believe the alliance is gonna get almost crushed here anyway . Neko's reinforcement should come ( and it should be massive to be able to save them ) maybe Whitebeard Pirates remnants including Izo who is from Wano , or Zunisha + rest of Minks

Marines are gonna show up but later i think . they were busy handling 4 former Warlords , escorting 50 Kings & Queens back to their respective territories all over the world , the result of incident with Alabasta ( Vivi ? ) , also their main role is actually guarding Mariejois

But how is a third round possible knowing that if they lose they will get decimated?
Remember what happened 10 years ago when some samurais tried a rebellion. They were all killed.

So if the alliance loses here, they're just dead people. Dead people can't have a third round.

Oda has made the Straw Hats and their allies survive situations where they should have been killed countless times, and often through totally ridiculous means.
Even if the alliance is defeated during the second round, which is really likely to happen, Oda will somehow spare them from being offed.

I really don't see how it's possible here. They run away and then what happens? What is going to change for them to win? All their forces are already here, they ran away to wano other islands, the yonko forces will follow them, they would still lose if they already lost on onigashima.

That's why only one will go down this arc and it's Kaido, since Luffy made a promise: he would have dealt with BM only after Kaido's demise.

There is no bullshit writing Oda can possibly write for another escape from not one, but two Yonko. There wont be any rounds. If the alliance gets crushed here that's it. Their dead. Fullstop.

Luffy and the others already had their grace period when he was thrown in jail. These are just the type of stakes present when you face the Emperors. We'll just have to wait and see how Luffy, Law and Kidd deal with both.

Been saying it in other threads but I'm starting to think Kaido/Big Mom will be separate issue entirely from their crews. Everyone will get major fights, you have:

- Kaido
- Kaido's Son (Ace? Maybe)
- 3 All Stars (King, Queen, Jack)
- 5 Tobi Roppo (Drake certainly will betray them)
- I assume 9 Numbers (2-10)

20 Mainline fighters under Kaido, then you have:

- Big Mom
- Smoothie
- Citron
- Cinnamon
- Campote
- Perospero
- Snack
- Bavarois (He's Snack's twin)
- Daifuku
- Oven (? if he's there)
- Mont-d'Or
- Amande
- Amande's 3 Sisters (if they are fodder or not who knows)
- Custard (Cracker's Triplet sister)
- Angel (Cracker's Triplet sister)
- Gallete and her sister

Another 20 mainline fighters easily on BM's side.

On the flipside you have:

- 10 Strawhats
- Kid and Killer (lets assume the rest of his crew wont do much, but maybe Heat and Wire show off a bit)
- Law and Bepo (we have yet to see if Penguin and Sachi can even do anything, and Jean Bart has been pretty hard background for years now)
- 8 Scabbards + Shinobu
- Hawkins, Apoo and Drake (will all likely betray Kaido at some point during this)
-Named Mink like Shishilion and his two commanders under Inu, Concelot and Giovanni
- Neko's 2 commanders, Blackback and Roddy (I assume these 2 and Inu's 3 Musketeers can use Sulong properly)
- Neko's allies/former WB or Roger pirates
- Possibly Sword allies eventually (Koby and Hancock for example?)




Obviously Oda can fodderize a ton of the above but there is PLENTY to go around between both crews and Oda drawing some decent panels to show either side wrecking the other.


Once the above is all said and done, we could get massive Oars-like fights between Kaido and Big Mom. I really don't think either will just be Luffy or Kid's game. I can see all 8 supernova currently at Wano taking on JUST Kaido. Zoro's blade Enma indicates that Zoro, at some point, will fight and damage Kaido as its hyped to be. This is why I also believe that Kaido is not Luffy's main or initial fight, but rather his son or the Ace if he exists (we'll find out in the next few chapters I'm sure).

We forget that Neko will bring even more allies and im sure Drake will have brought in Sword to throw things even further into Chaos.
