That doesn't explain how how someone who doesn't know what CoC is, knows how a black blade is forged.
Even Gyukimaru seems to know how to forge a Black Blade, as Zoro was about to ask him, before he got interrupted.
Are you telling me that Zoro was going to ask Gyukimaru if the color of a black blade comes from Conqueror's Haki?
Zoro didn't even have CoC at the time, and didn't even know that AdCoC was possible. Very strange, how he would be assuming that a Black Blade is forged by something he knew nothing about at the time.

Again shanks oden Roger have been using coa on their swords longer than zoro has been alive.
Come on dude. Shanks has been the only character that was hyped for his strong coc pre skip. And Roger's coc was hyped by oden, someone who was almost close enough to make a black blade.
Even ignoring that, Kaido, the supposed strongest creature in the world, hyped up Roger and Shanks and had them in his top 5. You think he does that to dudes with weak coc?
Where as, Mihawk has NEVER been hyped up about his coc AT ALL. The only reason we even know Mihawk has it is cause Zoro has it.
It's pretty clear that acoc isn't what gives someone a black blade. It's gonna be some philosophical shit like Miyamoto Musashi and his becoming the void. Basically, they have to become the sword itself and be one with the sword to get a black blade. And Shanks and Roger and WB and whoever else just saw their swords as just tools to channel their power.
I didn't say he said CoA, but he clearly had something in mind when he was asking, before he got cut off. He knew nothing of CoC at the time, so that eliminates CoC of having anything to do with black blades. Your only other options are CoA and CoO. Pick one.

Shanks who has a beloved blade
Roger who has a beloved blade he named his son after cares for their swords
As opposed to zoro who only cares if he has 3 bar wado and will go through swords at will.
