Stop overestimating damn Roger and stick to Shanks' rival, how can you suggest that Roger is better than Shanks? It is to say that Roger's swordsmanship can surpass even Mihawk's since previously a Shanks with 2 arms was never defeated by Mihawk, and even with just one arm he is considered Mihawk's rival in this aspect.

Yes, since Roger is the only existing instance of someone who achieved One Piece, Luffy told Kaidou several times that he wanted to become pirate king and obtain One Piece and Kaidou was just reciting the way the previous PK achieved this feat and it was through Haki, but this does not necessarily dictate that Roger's Haki > All, Kaidou's Haki surpasses Roger's. The issue is that the current era is much more difficult to obtain One Piece and Kaidou's strength even exceeds Roger's is not enough to achieve this feat on his own, which is why Joyboy has the most feared power in the seas to make allies wherever he goes, because it is thanks to the numbers (allies) that he will achieve. :sanmoji:

Stop it, such a thing as "2-armed Shanks is equal to Roger" does not exist, 1-armed Shanks is equal to two-armed Shanks, Shanks' power did not decline after this loss this is recited in a databook in which I made a thread If you look in my profile you will find Shanks may have compensated for this loss, we don't know but according to the databook his power has not reduced...

And Roger is also inferior to Wb. And kaidou is stronger than all of them, the entire OP VERSE kaidou surpasses him, he transcended all living beings and became the strongest living creature on land, sea and air, the embodiment of strength something that Roger will never be

Going by old garp vs aokiji , its obvious. Roger highlights sengoku also and both garp and sengoku are only confirmed COC users.

That being said logia admirals still have awakening as their trump cards probably.

When comparing Mihawk and Kuzan. Mihawk isn't part of the emperors crew. He IS the emperor. He's just the hidden one.

Cross Guild is obviously going to have to compete with the other emperor crews.

Otoh. Kuzan is still just a subordinate of BB

Old gen has a kind of mystery around them that gets slowly dispelled.
They are not special anymore compared to the new gen.
Garp was supposed to be special then we learned he was a fraud.
Its the same for pirates as well.
We thought PK was the ultimate title and meant that the one with it defeated everyone else. The we learned that Gol Dodger the fraud avoided a confrontation with BM.

We could say the same about Mihawk and his feats at Marineford . His attacks were stopped by Jozy , Crocodile and he didn't gain any upper hand against Vista despite fighting him ,he don't have better feats than Sengoku nor did he get any special hype or portrayal during entire marineford arc .

Kizaru got taken out by Luffy in hit..granted he himself got taken out by his power up but still Kaido..an emperor would tank that hit for days. Prime Garp is never suffering that fate and Sengoku is always portrayed extremely close to garp.

Green Bull got paralyzed by Shanks from several kilometers away with Shanks barely moving a muscle. Shanks was never able to do something of that capacity to Mihawk. Prime Garp scales to that level so Garp isn't suffering that fate..by default neither is Sengoku.

Aokiji is a Blackbeards regular commander and in terms of crew hierarchy isn't given any special distinction compared to Kizaru. When Mihawk joined a yonko..he's still seen as bigger threat than said Yonko. Same would be applied to Garp who is Roger's rival. And Same for sengoku as well.

So why is Oda treating marines so bad?
They used to be some of my favorite characters

I got excited for Green Bull and Oda turned him into Shanks victim.
I got excited for Kizaru and Oda turned him into Nika victim.

Garp is hailed as the hero of the Marines for defeating Rocks. We learned that he did not really do that.
What else is he if not a fraud?
Throwing a few punches at a former Admiral and then dying a dogs death is not exactly an impressive display. A sick and dying WB did more damage to Akainu than Garp did to Aokiji.

modern admirals are fraudulent toptiers
they have nothing which symbolises what a toptier should be
merely changing the climate of the island aint impressive when ace can do an inferior version of that just by existing

the only thing in canon which portrays the gateway to the toptier realm is skyspitting



or some other insane portrayal which shows u going toe to toe with these skysplitter like oden

tho i think oden might as well be capable to do a skyplit himself , we just didnt see him clash with another proper toptier

now comes the admirals of modern era , they barely have any portrayal which puts them on the level of sky splitting

the main thing is that they dont even have conquerors haki , so they simply dont have the potential to get to that level

the only marines portrayed to be skysplitting level are garp and sengoku in old gen

both of them are also confirmed to possess conquerors haki
with garp directly showing advanced conquerors

these sky splitters are on a different tier
u can easily see that in their interaction with admirals

lets start with old people ( characters with the portrayal of being skysplitters )
1. here is oldbeard defeating the strongest admiral

2. here is rusty rayleigh stalling an admiral

3. here is garp actually beating an admiral in every interaction



imagine what will they do in their prime

u also have instances where shanks simply Wi-Fi diffs greenbul

or luffy beating kizaru the moment he uses acoc

there are levels between them
well end of the day , the term ' toptier ' is not a canon term in the manga

thats why there are lists of low TT , mid TT , high TT
i consider admirals in the mid TT range while the true toptier range starts from high TT ( sky splitters )
high TT is also where prime garp and sengoku should be
