If Hara stays faithful to history, the Riboku/Shibashou duo was the duo that made unification impossible for Qin. If Hara holds onto that hype and makes these two unbeatable for Qin, I would bump Shibashou up to equal with the old 3GH. As of now I have him slightly below.
you have Rihaku over Genpou/Chougaryuu/Rinko/Kyou'En?
Rinko literally outperformed Choukatsu though and Kyou'En has far better portrayal.

See this is why itβs tough to rank these guys sometimes. Itβs been established that commanders who can lead a hundred thousand men are very rare, at the time of Bayou Ryofui believed only Ouki and Moubu within Qin were capable of that.
And Choukatsu lead an enormous Zhao army of over 400,000 men (since these are the prisoners Hakuki took after Ouki defeated him).
Idk, Choukatsu got one shot by Ouki, but Ranbihaku was a warrior who could give Ouki trouble. So how do you even compare a commander who can lead 400,000 men but gets one shot by Ouki, to a berserk warrior who probably canβt lead large numbers but could give Ouki trouble?

SBS is strong but there doesn't seem to have any strategy involved in his battles.
And he is not Moubu.
Kochou is underestimated but for a while he danced with Ousen, Yo Tan Wa and Kanki.
I would add that SBS is taking advantage of RBK's plan just like Houken did before.
I expected more than just brute strength from SBS.

I agree that Shibashou hasn't earned it yet based on solo feats as a general but I think it's undeniable he'll be above Kochou with all the hype he's gotten. I mean in his first battle hes seemingly defeated Ousen, the best mind in Qin and debatably the best commander in Qin.
I agree that Kochou's defensive feat is impressive
However as good as Kochou is, he wasn't a Zhao Heaven or ever said to have the ability to be one. To me putting a regular Zhao Great General is like putting Choutou ahead of Oukotsu

Remember that Gouhoumei only became a Fire Dragon sometime before Juuko and that was also after he surpassed Reiou in ability. Scaling by special gg titles is a thing imo.
Shibashou's extreme hype, powerful subordinates that heavily outclass Kochou's on average(ignoring Buddha), and title is enough to put him above Kochou despite not having a feat as good as Kochou's for the time being

I agree that he's better lol and by a decent margin. I just think Kochou currently has a feat that SBS hasn't surpassed for the time.
I was hoping we'd get scenes of Shibashou advising Riboku on the plan and making revisions in addition to being a superb warrior
For the record I think Seika army vs Kochou would be a demolition in Seika's favor with maybe only one general casualty
