I prefer games like the Outer Worlds. In that game, they have exaggerated capitalism for the sake of satire. If you die on the job, then you are in violation of your contract and your closest next of kin have to pay back every single penny they've paid you since you've worked there. No family? Your closest friend gets the bill. No friends? Then your "closest" associate lmao.
