America is at a point where compromise doesn't help anymore. Money and Corporations have a shit ton of influence in neoliberal, capitalist America. Funding is what determines the likelihood of someone winning elections, politicians receive funding(lobbying) to push certain policies etc..
The scale has been tipped greatly to one side causing an imbalance. If there's a problem, compromise will make the issue grow slowly overtime cause you're still giving power to those mostly responsible for said problems.

I mean it’s just one example of how Israel has America tied to it. You brought up Saudi to try and dismiss that fact as if Saudi has remotely the same influence on America. If Saudi was getting hundreds of billions of dollars in aid and weaponry whilst being able to call America to fight its wars Iran would’ve been today’s Iraq.
