Laugh Tale is going to be the void century flashback. Guaranteed that will be 99% of the arc.

The whole Blackbeard being a villain at Laugh Tale was something many thought ever since pre timeskip.

But yeah at this point I don't think it will be like that anymore.

Yeah I don’t have the biggest hopes that oda will do her justice before redeeming her and making her less relevant but I do have blind hope lol

I would like it but I have long given up on it, the second half of WCI and Wano have made clear that Oda will never do justice to Big Mom and her crew, in large part due to his sexisme and because he obviously didn't know what to do with her nor how to give a good excuse for the Straw Hats and their allies surviving her.

I am not sure he'll do justice to any antagonist group anymore anyway.

Tbh I personally got main reasons I think Blackbeard might be defeated before shanks for the one piece

1. Crew
   • While Blackbeard hands down has the strongest crew at the moment the best I see zoro and Sanji fighting is shiryu and laffitte
   • If shanks and buggy team up zoro and Sanji can fight way stronger opponents like potentially mihawk and beckman
2. It’s poetic
   • Shanks is the reason luffy went after the one piece so him being his last opponent before actually becoming pirate king is poetic imo

Again it has less to do with individual strength but it just seems more fitting imo

CG exist for zoro to fight Mihawk

Kid and Law as captains are out of the equation for one the one piece. evidence last page.
to be honest i think really that the another silhouette is the Shank twin we saw visiting the Gorosei. he might be part of the God knights or maybe the man with scar, who has the last poneglyphs
another thing we saw the 4 Yonko but not another memeber of their crews with exception of Kuzan which means he really has his own agenda most likely part of sword.

I'm not. I always let Oda's track record speak for itself. It's because I know Oda so well that I know Coby won't be at the level y'all think he will be at during the final war.

Oda will make Koby jump tiers
He can just give him a top tier weapon and a powerful df , then boost his haki

Also from a straight hype perspective

Teach gets clowned a lot whereas Shanks is Oda’s golden boy.

Nobody wants to face Shanks except for Kid, and we all saw how that went. Shanks has a higher bounty, was seen by Buggy as Roger’s successor, and has the best haki feats in the series.

Shanks could legitimately be the greater threat.

At the moment yeah I’d say shanks is probably a bit stronger and overall more respected. If it’s going to stay that way idk
If Blackbeard surpasses shanks I wouldn’t mind but if shanks somehow catches up I also wouldn’t be mad

Luffy is the emperor Luffy has wanted to fight and surpass the longest. Luffy meeting shanks is one of the most hyped up moments in the whole story. Almost just as much as luffy finding the one piece
Mihawks role in the story in comparison to shanks is essentially meaningless

Other than VP's message, Oda also does the usual main villain did these evil things and now he finally got defeated.

But it feels way too easy, I still think that Oda is going to pull a twist in the next chapter.

They'll first come after the Yonkos, thats why we'll get like Akainu vs Luffy, Dragon vs Blackbeard, Shanks vs Imu in Elbaf

Eh idk about the bottom half but the original idea of the story was to focus on Luffy vs the emperors so I do think it’d be fitting if he beats them all

1. Luffy vs kaido in wano
2. Luffy vs big mom in elbaf
3. Luffy vs Blackbeard post elbaf
4. Luffy vs shanks (allied with buggy) as the final emperor

The order not being based on strength but just what I think would be fitting imo

With luffy possibly fighting one of the 3 original admirals between each emperor. Tho not necessarily getting there own arcs
So basically

1. Kaido
2. Kizaru
3. Big mom
4. Aokiji
5. Blackbeard
6. Akainu
7. Shanks

The idea isn't about luffy heating them all
Yonko he befriended won't be his enemies to beat: WB, Buggy and Shanks
He only gets to beat Kaido and Teach, and in a way he participated in BMP downfall

He's not fighting Kuzan. Look at how Kizaru was treated as a mere casual fight where kizaru also loses even in 2v1.
Koby will beat Kuzan (after Garp or others weakens him)

Oh sure, he will most likely do the latter.

I already have an idea of how it will happen, with Big Mom being amnesiac again and being innocent again, with Pudding using her memory powers on her mother to bring back her fighting skills against the BBP but with modifying the memories so her mother stays nice.
