5 primordial haki gods were more afraid of awakening Nika powers than angering the WSC.
The MC has become the god of freedom that will liberate the world. The world’s strongest fruit was primarily responsible for making WB earn the title of world’s strongest man. Similarly, the ultimate df will make Law the ultimate fighter.

Don’t try to twist it much, haki is needed for all forms of fighting
Luffy without his rubber damage absorption, speed from heating up, increased power from stretching, and most importantly healing powers by consuming food would’ve been nowwhere near where he is right now. That’s not even mentioning Gear5
As we said obviously with no haki all this is useless, but everyone worth discussing has haki, so your point is pretty much useless

Yeah, obviously, someone who has mastered his DF is stronger than his DFless self.
The point just was that in the end, Haki reigns supreme. DF will serve as a buff, but in the end the one with the most powerful Haki will stand atop. That's why Luffy will defeat triple top tier DF Blackbeard (who has Haki) while having 1 DF nerfed by the Yami fruit + Haki.
