De-arming the populatjon is historical tactic for authoritarian regimes. In the U.S., what keeps the Govenrment from utilizing the military on the people is Posse Comitatus, a federal law that prevents miliary from enforcing state laws. The work around for this is de-arming the population, and funding the police force to resemble the military. It's a slowly growing into a police state.

Well I watch this true crime channel from time to time and she does a lot of cases from SKorea and Asia in general. The laws there simply don't protect victims and are extremely biased against women. Ra*ists get off scot free or just a few years in jail for absolutely appalling rap* and child ab*se crimes, the police and authorities are on the side of the rapi*ts because they're just as criminal as themselves. Do your own research before you move. Plus nobody in SKorea gets a gun that easily, if I remember correctly not even the police usually carry guns.

Ignoring your clear allusion to a specific user; I do think you're correct that being harmless does not equate to being good. Strength; of character and body are so undervalued in modern society.
Absolutely correct. Removing weapons from the populace is the modus operandi of totalitarian governments. They want us to be unable to defend ourselves.
