That's the go to excuse for them fanboys . The reality is Killer fucked him up real good. If he fainted coz of tummy issues then his will paper is really low to be honest.
He didn't faint during the fight with killer. He fainted after he won the battle. After beating Killer, there was no ambition to stay conscious anymore. Stamina is heavily influenced by ambition. Zoro had the ambition to protect Luffy in Thriller Bark so he ate Luffy's damage and remained on his feet.
luffy almost died to a poisonous fish but when it comes to zoro it doesn’t count. ur agenda against zoro stinks.zoro whopped killer gtfo they ain’t equals for shit.
At least Sanji getting wounded has something to do with the "excuse" Sanji fans use, Caesar and the giant children actually hurt Nami in Sanji's body. And that was underlined at least two times in PH.
The reason behind Zoro's fainting being the fact that he was hungry when he lost conscience like 10 second after he was stabbed is completely absurd.
Being hungry or poisoned was never mentioned to be a problem for Zoro, he was completely fine before the blow
Samurai are supposed to hide their hunger because showing it is considered shameful. In the Hagakure, it says a samurai should always have a toothpick so they can appear as if they just finished eating. It's important to hide your poverty or unmet needs when you're a samurai, because someone can use that against you. There's another bushido saying about how even if your stomach is empty, it's shameful to feel hunger.
All of the stomach issues and poisoned water and Bepo having the runs is just samurai story stuff, for real. That's why Otama was hiding her stomach pains, too. I think Momo has a similar line somewhere. You guys read Vagabond? The samurai diarrhea is real, man. Zoro was ignoring his stomach and gut problems for so long that he didn't even feel it, like a real samurai would. That's Zoro hype from Oda, not an insult. I don't get the controversy-- I'm not trying to be snarky. I just don't understand what the other side was arguing.
Zoro won't admit that he fainted due to hunger, he would rather say that he was too careless.
But that doesn't change that he actually fainted due to hunger (as showed in both anime and manga), no matter how harsh he can be to himself.
This is bushido
I mean it doesn't really matter:
It should be pretty obvious to any rational fan that Killer got stomped by Zoro.
Objectives: Killer's objective was to fulfill Orochi's orders so that his crew will be kept alive. So he needed to kill the girl.
Zoro's objective was a to save two random strangers he met.
Who completed their objective: obviously Zoro.
The fight itself:
1. Gyukimaru interferred with the fight, which caused Zoro to get hit.
2. Killer got one shotted by Zoro afterwards.
3. Zoro falls unconcious from the hit that was caused by Gyukimaru's interference. However, he completes his objective in saving Hyori and laughing girl
You can argue full strength or not all you want, but two facts remain.
Zoro one shoted Killer and he completed his objective. He's undisputed winner of the fight.
And who cares if Zoro fainted or not. He already completely his objective. People forget that One piece has a storyline and isn't entirely focused on 1 v 1 fighting. Characters often have inconsistent feats based on the storyline. For instance, we saw Crocodile get beaten by beginning of series luffy and then later do impressive things to top tiers during Marineford.
Now, if we want to get a little subjective, if Killer was on Zoro's level, shouldn't we expect him to at least last longer. He was in a better situation. Zoro has to guard the girl at all times. And finally, he landed a blow on Zoro. But he couldn't stop Zoro from one shotting him. Whats to say in a fair 1 v 1 fight, Zoro couldn't do the same. And Killer hasn't shown the ability to land a blow without help on Zoro.
How the fuck are people still being so obviously biased against Zoro? You denied it when manga happened and now the anime confirmed the truth, you will still blindly deny it.
Zoro had been consuming poisoned food/water. Getting stabbed obviously affected him but we've seen him stay standing from much worse.
Why add the detail of his stomach grumbling if it was not significant in him passing out? And you don't pass out from 'lack of skill' so idk why everyone uses Zoro's convo after the fight to explain why he fainted.
Poison+stab combo led to him fainting so his plot line with hiyori could continue. It isn't hard to understand
So everyone is forgetting how big of a difference proper nourishment makes in one piece? He was obviously hungry so he wasn't quite at his best... but the bigger issue is he had been eating TOXIC food for days on end. So hunger aside he couldn't have been in top shape to begin with.
The worst part is that the ''glurg'' sfx was taking half the panel but didn't convince them...then a year later, the anime does it again with sound and still didn't convince them...
At this point, even if Oda says ''IT WAS HUNGER'', they will still deny it and find a way to downplay...
if he wanted to show that Zoro passed out via some other reasons, he would have flat out have zoro state it. But no, Zoro never mentions that he was hungry or some bullshit. So what happened then?
Oh right !
Because drawing a ''hunger'' sfx on half the panel wasn't enough...
He needed to make Zoro say it, and why not 2 or 3 other characters confirm it just to please some people with reading/comprehension problems ?

like obviously the wound he received from killer was a factor as well, but if the author literally puts the same sfx from when luffy was starving in wci in that panel, thats no coincidence lmao.
Sorry but it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense. If Killer used poisonous blades, then it's not going to be some kind of weak poison that can just be slept off. Oda treats poison pretty seriously in the manga. Even Luffy who is supposed to be immune to many types of poison almost died from eating a poisonous fish.
There is also the fact that Killer wounded Hiyori, which I am assuming happened with his scythe, and she didn't pass out from poisoning. And if she poisoned also, but didn't pass out, then damn, she must be a beast.

I never understood this ''poison'' stuff; the 'sfx' was clearly hunger and as seen previously, it is no joke.
So this ''poison'' thing is either a strawman, Analphabetism or some kind of messed up plan to refute everything later lol
killer scythe wound was what made him faint but he was also hungry. grand scheme of things it doesnt matter
he won the fight and killer was able to land that hit off a distraction
